How much do cars go for at Auction? Because of a recent divorce. I'm stuck with two vehicles. A 2007 Jeep Commander and 2005 Mazda 6. Both are going to cost me an arm and a leg to get rid of so I think I'm going to be forced to let one get repo'd. How do I find out how much these cars normally go for at auction? Because I'm going to owe the difference.

Vulcan Arms Co. Shotgun? I have a friend who purchased a Vulcan Arms Company 12 ga. shotgun recently at an auction. He is trying to restore it and needs help with replacing the stock. The gun is a side by side, outside hammers, 29 1/2 " barrels. I have photos, but I don't know much about these things. The gun has a serial no. 374352 and my friend thinks that the existing stock may have been homemade as you will be able to see from the pictures I can send if you think you can help him. What we do know is that the gun was probably manufactured in the late 1800's or early 1900's. I have tried Numrich Gun Parts and shotgunworld.com. Please - any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. My friend knows that this gun is not worth a lot of money nor is it a valuable collectible. He just happens to like the gun and would like to bring it back to as close to original as he can. The gentleman who answered this question seemed to think we wanted to know how much it was worth and thought that we had something worth many dollars. Not so! Just want to know where we might find a stock to replace the "homemade" one. I have photos if anyone can help. Thanks for taking the time.
Is Vulcan ARMS a good rifle manufacture? I was thinking of buying a 50bmg single shot rifle, but Im not really sure of what brand I want for the right money. Just sold a Gold Coin on an eBay auction - Winner is from Poland - Not sure to send or cancel? Hello. Maybe someone can help me with this. I had a gold coin up for auction and it sold to a person from Poland. He has not paid as of yet, but said he would do so shortly. After going on to the USPS website I notice that Poland has restrictions as listed below: Prohibitions (130) Arms and ammunition. Articles, printed matter, written documents or other articles contrary to interests of Poland. Coins; bank notes; currency notes (paper money) including currency in circulation in the Polish Republic; traveler’s checks; platinum, gold, or silver (manufactured or not); precious stones; jewelry; and other valuable items. Perishable infectious biological substances Perishable noninfectious biological substances Radioactive materials. I have never had this happen to me since I have been on eBay. Should I just email the winner and tell them straight up I am unable to ship this coin to him and offer it to the next highest bidder or what. I really am not sure what to do at this point. One thing is I really don’t want to send it taking a chance it is opened then it could be confiscated and that would be it.
So, I bought this antique sofa at an auction, and was wondering where it was made...? I bought this really cool, purple velvet sofa at an auction a couple months ago, and was wondering if there was any way to find out who made it. It looks Victorian, because it has wooden arms and feet, but I don't think it is necessarily THAT old (it's in really good shape). There is a tag under the middle cushion that says "Super Sagless---Web Foundation -- Custom Built. Anybody have a clue what that means, or if that is some sort of existing furniture company? I am just a little curious as to where this came from, and how old it may be. The velvet is pretty much in perfect condition, so I was thinking, if the couch actually is Victorian, it was likely reupholstered at some point.... Gabi -- why Canada? How did you come up with that?
What should my mares be used to when they go to the auction? My two mares are going to the auction one of these days. We really want them to go to a good home, so if we have them used to loud noises and people crowding them, they would probably get a descent home. What types of things should I introduce them to? I've already thought of : - Quads - People screaming, yelling, talking, crying, bidding loud, jumping, jumping jacks, swinging arms around them, etc.. - Swinging rope around - Holding umbrella up and around (not touching them with it) - Rolling a small, black barrel around - Shaking bottles with rocks in them (We will be using a couple plastic bottles and a coke - cola bottle as well) - Smashing bottles together - Standing on the fence acting like we are little kids and saying/yelling "I want that horse daddy/mommy/!" - Running around everywhere - I think I've already mentioned this one . . . - Dogs running around - Tarps - Plastic bags What else should I introduce to them? Thanks,
Good price for a Stag Arms AR-15? Hi guys, I asked about a DPMS yesterday but now I was looking into getting a Stag Arms AR-15. I found this one and would like to know if that's a good price. It's the lowest I've come across that includes most of what I want: http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=134390990 But I was also wondering about a forward assist and if it had one. And also if there is anything else not included you think should be included for the rifle. Thanks for any help. By the way, if I am the only bidder I'll get it at $800 + $25 for shipping. Plus around $45 for the FFL transfer thing. Jeff: thanks for all the info. It really helped. Badass: According to the seller it's brand new, in an unopened box. :) Micah: Hey, you say you have a Model 1 & 2 which is perfect cause I just found a Model 1 for cheaper: http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=134526573 Is the Model 2 worth the extra money? It may be more cause of extras it may come with.. I'm not even sure. I literally just found the link...thanks Thanks Nitro!
Selling handguns at a N. Carolina Gun Show? I have 2 handguns I would like to sell. I am considering taking them to a gun show and looking for a buyer. What are the legal requirements of selling a handgun between two private individuals at a gun show in North Carolina? Am I better off going through a site like Auction Arms or Gunbroker?
Looking for a Beretta 92d? I'm looking for a Beretta 92d. I have checked gunbroker, gunsamerica and auction arms. Does anybody know where else I can look? Its hard to find one especially one in good shape. If anyone has one that they want to get rid of I have a brand new Glock 22 rtf2 new in the box and unfired I would trade. Just contact me and we could go through our local FFL's so that everyhting is done legally.
online handgun....must ship to FFL??? whenever i go to auction arms.com, or impactguns, or gunbroker, or gunsamerica...they all say that when you buy a handgun, it has to be shipped to the buyer's FFL dealer. does this mean you have to be 21 to buy a handgun online? if you are a gun control supporter do not answer this question.
Guns from the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's seem to have a very thick layer of high gloss varnish, why is this? On the internet now, on GunBroker, Auction Arms, and GunsAmerica, they now give high quality close up photos of shotguns and rifles. I prefer older guns from the 1970's. I notice, however that in that era, they REALLY like high gloss varnish on their guns. They were very shiny. Was this put on to protect the finish of the gun, or was a hunting rifle just expected to be beautiful and shiny back then? And they would have white spaces on the butt pad, and end caps on the grip, and different wood on the tip of the forearm. I also notice they were willing to put recoil pads as a stock item on non Magnum rifles back then. I never see that any more. Why is that?
Im looking for a low budget pistol for ISPCA? when I say budget I mean $350 or less I'm looking for a 9mm No polymer frames (I just don't trust them) keep in mind I'm not looking for a tack driver, just something relatively accurate and reliable. (I frequent auction arms, and sometimes you can find a good deal, so if its a little over the $350 limit I look for a good price on it) thanks in advance when I say budget I mean $350 or less I'm looking for a 9mm No polymer frames (I just don't trust them) also I'd rather not get a revolver keep in mind I'm not looking for a tack driver, just something relatively accurate and reliable. Is this DPMS-PANTHER ARMS Rifle A3 LITE 16" 223 the same/similar to an AR-15 rifle? http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=178015415 What is different about this rifle from an AR15 rifle? Why is it so much cheaper than the AR15's I can find? Is it not as good as an ar15? What is the difference that makes it so much more affordable at only $690?
Dishwasher is not cleaning my dishes. I rinse B4 putting in Need advice.? I have checked the spin arm holes, both top & bottom& they are not clogged. I don't know what to do. I purchased it used at an auction so- maybe there was a problem to start with but now I have it and I have to deal with it. Calling a repair man is not an option . Any tips for this Hackettstown lady. Thanks for your answer
Milkshake machine leaving black rubber in drinks. Does rubber seal need replacing or wearing in? We have just bought a new milkshake machine (industrial) from an auction. When I tried it out bits of black rubber kept ending up sprayed around the edges of the cup. Does anyone know if this means the seal at the top of the arm is perished (it looks fine) or does it need be be used a few times for the rubber close to the metal to wear away from the spinning mixer arm?
I am trying to transport a car from Pensacola, FL to Chicago. What is the best and most cost effective way? I tried calling the auto auction in Pensacola and see if they can transport the car but I just keep getting voicemail there and no return call. I would prefer not to use a transport company that charges an arm and a leg. I have already moved... I need someone to just move the car. Wow! The uship.com site is awesome! Thanks!
The bull auction? This couple goes to an agricultural show way out in the countryside a fine Sunday afternoon, and are watching the auctioning off of bulls. The guy selling the bulls announces the first bull to be auctioned off: "A fine specimen, this bull reproduced 60 times last year." The wife nudges her husband in the ribs, and comments, "See! That was more than 5 times a month!" The second bull is to be sold: "Another fine specimen, this wonder reproduced 120 times last year." Again the wife bugs her husband, "Hey, that's some 10 times a month. What do YOU say to that?!" Her husband is getting really annoyed with this comparison. The third bull is up for sale: "And this extraordinary specimen reproduced 360 times last year!" The wife slaps her husband on the arm and yells, "That's once a day, every day of the year! How about YOU?!" The husband was pretty irritated by now, and yells back, "Sure, once a day! But ask the announcer if they were all with the same fat cow!!"
Looking for history on a Spain Enesco false (faux) book? Recently we bought at an auction, a false (faux) book that has a Made in Spain Enesco sticker on the back of it. The false book is made out of wood and seems to have brass hinges and nails. There is a leather or leatherette cover on the front with 4 soldiers. One soldier is holding a flag, the flag has a coat of arms on it. The image seems to have a name and date in the lower right hand corner, possibly "Camille Ghisi 1928, Does anyone know anything about this item?

Does anybody recognize this book? I remember quite a few years ago reading a book. It was a romance novel. It's about a young woman who has a brother with a messed up arm and her dad is basically not good for anything. Her dad ends up auctioning her off and a man buys her. She is married off to this man. I don't remember a lot of the story but I do remember her falling in love with him and there were several plot twists. I remember liking the book and would like to find out the title and author so I can find it again.
Is this the most bizarre thing you have ever heard??!!? US MEN BATTLE OVER OWNERSHIP OF AMPUTATED LEG (from Yahoo! News) MIAMI (AFP) - Two US men are locked in a war of words over custody of an amputated leg, which one of them says he lost in a plane crash and another insists he owns since it was inside a barbecue he bought at an auction. (Advertisement) John Wood of South Carolina says he had left the limb inside the barbecue smoker at a storage facility, because he wanted to be buried with it. But the storage business auctioned off the barbecue and other items after Wood fell behind with payments. Wood is now up in arms over the leg the buyer of the barbecue wants to keep. Shannon Whisnant, who was at first shocked by what he found inside the smoker, now believes it could bring him fame and fortune. For now, he has put up a sign on the smoker charging adults three dollars and children one dollar for a peek inside, even though the leg is no longer inside but at a funeral home. He believes a lot more money could be made by going on television shows. Whisnant even suggested joint custody of the leg, much to Wood's outrage. "He's making a freak show out of it," said Wood. "He wants to go on 'The Tonight Show' and he wants to sell it to the National Enquirer and call Ripley's Believe It or Not. He wants to put money in his pocket with this thing." "I just think it's despicable," he said. Wood lost the leg in a 2004 plane crash that killed his father. He kept the limb in a freezer, then dried it out in his front yard, and eventually stored it away. Whisnant said that when he found the leg he thought "it might have been part of a missing person or someone's ex-wife" and called police, which gave the limb to a funeral home. To date, Wood has not taken legal action to force the return of his leg cozy - oops sorry - and I did a search for 'amputated' in answers first and everything

I am looking for information on this oil painting.? I bought it at an auction in the SFO bay area. They claimed it came out of a museum in San Jose that shut down years ago. The artist name is in the r/h lower corner and is printed "Giorigo" . It has the appearance of an Aztec warrior holding a dead maiden horizontally in his arms. colors are vibrant. If needed I can send a picture of it. Thanks Mike Go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/michael_js/ to view I did not spell the artist name right. It's diorgio and this is an oil painting not a poster.
Anyone know what will happen to the designers looks after project runway? There are some I'd give an arm and a leg for!!!! Will they auction them off to charities? When I say looks... I mean designs, outfits, clothes.
I dreamed I saved a baby donkey in distress, and...? In my dream I was going to an auction. Outside were vendors booths, as I looked around I saw a beautiful small size donkey in a funky lace and leather outfit. Upon closer inspection I realised this was an actual baby donkey. I became infuriated with the owner of this animal I now held in my arms and was freeing it from this confining outfit undoing snaps and pulling out it's ears. As she was telling me a line of bull, why, I slapped her in the mouth. I immediately felt that I didn't feel right about slapping her, I really didn't mean to. She was in shock then ran up a set of stairs. I yelled option A I call SPCA or B you take my $1. This donkey is now mine. I felt I had the right, it was being abused as it was so young, it should be with it's mom, not on show at a market sale, it was actually like in a corner an un obvious spot where I found it. The situation had me so upset. I dreamed I saved a baby donkey in distress and I'd like to know what it means, if you can interpret for me?
How are you doing today.....? A lone tourist who is passing through the suburbs on the way to town by car, unfortunately experiences mechanical problems with the automobile. The car stalls and the tourist parks the car by the side of the road and waits for help. Not much later, a farmer happens to pass by with a truck full of farm animals. The farmer offers the tourist a lift to town and proceeds to explain that he is bringing his farm animals to the town market, where they will be auctioned off to the highest bidders. Well, it so happens that on the way to the town, the farmer being so engrossed in his story, unintentionally wanders into the other side of road where another vehicle is approaching in the other direction. The farmer realizes his absent mindness and attempts to avoid the possible collision with the other vehicle. He just misses the other car, but unfortunately crashes the truck into the side of the road. The tourist winds up thrown into a ditch and suffers broken ribs and a broken arm and leg and is obviously in extreme pain. The farm animals are all messed up very badly and the farmer, although remaining inside the vehicle, still suffers cuts and scrapes. The farmer gets out of the truck and looks at his farm animals. The chickens all have broken limbs and can barely move. "These chickens are all useless! Nobody will want to buy these chickens anymore!" bellows the farmer. With that, he grabs and loads his shotgun and blows away the chickens. Next, he sees the pigs and they are all lame and bleeding profusely. "These pigs are all worthless now! I'll get nothing for them!" yells the farmer. With great rage, the farmer reloads his shotgun and blows away the pigs. The farmer looks at the sheep and they all have broken limbs and their wool is all bloodied. "Worthless sheep!" screams the farmer and with that, he reloads his shotgun and blows away the sheep. Meanwhile, the injured tourist witnesses all of this carnage in great horror. The farmer then moves over to the side of the ditch and looks at the tourist. "Are you okay down there?" asked the farmer. "NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!" the tourist yelled back. Urine contact question - medical professional only please...? I purchased some urine from an adult auction site. I got in my tub and poured it on my arms, legs, chest and in hair. I masturbated and showered thoroughly. I understand that urine is generally sterile and does not contain HIV. I also know that there is only a theoretical chance of any STDs from it with no known cases to date. However, I have also read that if somebody has a UTI, or is it gets in an open wound, something could be passed on. I tried hard to keep the urine out of any bodily openings but might unknowingly have gotten some in somewhere. I also had a papercut about 3 days before and a few chest rash bumps. Would these old things be open wounds? (I may have got some on the chest bumps or the paper cut.) Being that the urine was at least 3 days old (many things can't live outside the body very long), the seller had a positive reputation on the auction site, she assures me she is disease free and with the precautions I tried to take, what if ananything could I catch?

Why is the UZI illegal ??? Ok I live in NY State and I have been told by 2 gun dealers that owning an UZI by Vector Arms is illegal in NY. Does anyone know why? I'm looking for an adventure book with a bow and arrows, in the Revolutionary War...? a book that my dad told me about years ago. He read it in the 50s-60s. It took place in England before &during the American War for Independence. There was a boy whose father had died, living with his mother & sister, when a Turkish man moves in next door. He & the boy make friends. The Turkish man has a big bow, & he says to the boy, when you're strong enough to string it you can have it. Eventually he can do it and the bow is his, along with the arrows. He & his family are starving, so he shoots deer in the royal forest. He's caught for poaching & sold as an indentured servant & gets sent to the Colonies. His mother gives him a basket just as leaves on the boat, it has his bow & arrows inside. There's a storm just as they approach land and they're drifting away, boy saves them with his bow and arrows. While he's for auction, a hunchback comes up to him and grabs his arm, the boy yanks it away while the man mutters about how strong he is. There's more, but any help is appreciated!

Unusual eBay refund question- broken item? I recently won an auction on eBay for an amazing steal (far below the items values'). However, all of the items included in the auction were very fragile in nature (ceramic, ect). When I recieved the items three of them were in perfect condition. One of the other items (a statue) had a very small, minute chip on the back bottom, but the other statue had its arms broken off. I was easily able to glue the arms back on so that the break was hardly noticeable. I e-mailed the seller and told them that the items were broken, but that I was happy with the purchase and planned to leave positive feedback. However, the seller (no doubt trying to be helpful) gave me a full refund. I understand that he/she is just trying to maintain a good transaction, but I don't feel right accepting a refund for something I am quite happy with (the three unbroken items were the reason I bid; I could care less about the broken ones anyway). I haven't left feedback on eBay yet nor have I contacted Paypal, as I'm not sure how to proceed. Any suggestions? O.o I'm quite befuddled by the whole thing...I've been an eBayer for over eight years and never had anythign like this happen...
Anyone tried out the North American Arms folding revolver? I saw a neat looking little gun at a gun store nearby. It's the North American Arms .22 folding revolver. Has anyone seen this? Has anyone fired it? I'm getting my CCW this week and this looks like a good concealed carry weapon. The guy at the gun shop said he has a customer who bought it and likes it, but I want some objective opinions. A link to a picture of the gun is here: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=139330834#PIC
H.R. Davis 20 guage information (more informed question...)? I just bought an H.R. Davis 20 guage pre serial number era shotgun in an auction. I found a book in the library that said they were made from the late 1800s into the 30s, but don't know how to narrow it down further. It is a side-by-side with cool looking wood and beautiful metal. Any suggestions about how to find out more about this shotgun??? Best Answer - Chosen by Asker A brief History...In 1888, George Cilley bought out a defunct company called Bacon Arms Company of Norwich, Conneticut. Shortly afterwards Cilley and a gentlemn by the name of Foster, borrowed money and formed the Crescent Fire Arms Company and merged their individual patents for firearms designs and manufacturing. They started up with single shot tip-up shotguns but then started building double barrel shotguns in 1891 In 1929, N.R. Davis Firearms Company merged with Crescent to become Cresent-Davis Arms Corporation. Because of poor business practices, Crescent Davis was forced to sell out it's holdings to Savage Firearms in 1931. Savage in turn assembled firearms from parts from the old Crescent- Davis inventory and sold them exclusively using the Crescent name . Less than a year later, the City of Norwich, Conneticut, took over the Crescent property for non payment of taxes, and the Norwich facility was forced to close and move to Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts. Crescent Firearms Company (That made your Double Barrel Shotgun)was best known for manufactureing what is referred to "House Brand" shotguns and sold to retailers, distributors, mail order houses etc, like Sears & Roebuck, J.C. Penny, Montgomery Wards and others all over the United States. Crescent held over 100+ Trademarks for marketing these "house brand" shotguns. Since these shotguns were mass produced, all the shotguns that exist today are considered "shooters" and have no true collectors value.. Your double barrel shotgun in good to excellent condition is worth between $150-$225.... Is it good to drink milk? The text is too long but worthwhile read....? "MILK" Just the word itself sounds comforting! "How about a nice cup of hot milk?" The last time you heard that question it was from someone who cared for you--and you appreciated their effort. The entire matter of food and especially that of milk is surrounded with emotional and cultural importance. Milk was our very first food. If we were fortunate it was our mother's milk. A loving link, given and taken. It was the only path to survival. If not mother's milk it was cow's milk or soy milk "formula"--rarely it was goat, camel or water buffalo milk. Now, we are a nation of milk drinkers. Nearly all of us. Infants, the young, adolescents, adults and even the aged. We drink dozens or even several hundred gallons a year and add to that many pounds of "dairy products" such as cheese, butter, and yogurt. Can there be anything wrong with this? We see reassuring images of healthy, beautiful people on our television screens and hear messages that assure us that, "Milk is good for your body." Our dieticians insist that: "You've got to have milk, or where will you get your calcium?" School lunches always include milk and nearly every hospital meal will have milk added. And if that isn't enough, our nutritionists told us for years that dairy products make up an "essential food group." Industry spokesmen made sure that colourful charts proclaiming the necessity of milk and other essential nutrients were made available at no cost for schools. Cow's milk became "normal." You may be surprised to learn that most of the human beings that live on planet Earth today do not drink or use cow's milk. Further, most of them can't drink milk because it makes them ill. There are students of human nutrition who are not supportive of milk use for adults. Here is a quotation from the March/April 1991 Utne Reader: If you really want to play it safe, you may decide to join the growing number of Americans who are eliminating dairy products from their diets altogether. Although this sounds radical to those of us weaned on milk and the five basic food groups, it is eminently viable. Indeed, of all the mammals, only humans--and then only a minority, principally Caucasians--continue to drink milk beyond babyhood. Who is right? Why the confusion? Where best to get our answers? Can we trust milk industry spokesmen? Can you trust any industry spokesmen? Are nutritionists up to date or are they simply repeating what their professors learned years ago? What about the new voices urging caution? I believe that there are three reliable sources of information. The first, and probably the best, is a study of nature. The second is to study the history of our own species. Finally we need to look at the world's scientific literature on the subject of milk. Let's look at the scientific literature first. From 1988 to 1993 there were over 2,700 articles dealing with milk recorded in the 'Medicine' archives. Fifteen hundred of theses had milk as the main focus of the article. There is no lack of scientific information on this subject. I reviewed over 500 of the 1,500 articles, discarding articles that dealt exclusively with animals, esoteric research and inconclusive studies. How would I summarize the articles? They were only slightly less than horrifying. First of all, none of the authors spoke of cow's milk as an excellent food, free of side effects and the 'perfect food' as we have been led to believe by the industry. The main focus of the published reports seems to be on intestinal colic, intestinal irritation, intestinal bleeding, anemia, allergic reactions in infants and children as well as infections such as salmonella. More ominous is the fear of viral infection with bovine leukemia virus or an AIDS-like virus as well as concern for childhood diabetes. Contamination of milk by blood and white (pus) cells as well as a variety of chemicals and insecticides was also discussed. Among children the problems were allergy, ear and tonsillar infections, bedwetting, asthma, intestinal bleeding, colic and childhood diabetes. In adults the problems seemed centered more around heart disease and arthritis, allergy, sinusitis, and the more serious questions of leukemia, lymphoma and cancer. I think that an answer can also be found in a consideration of what occurs in nature & what happens with free living mammals and what happens with human groups living in close to a natural state as 'hunter-gatherers'. Our paleolithic ancestors are another crucial and interesting group to study. Here we are limited to speculation and indirect evidences, but the bony remains available for our study are remarkable. There is no doubt whatever that these skeletal remains reflect great strength, muscularity (the size of the muscular insertions show this), and total absence of advanced osteoporosis. And if you feel that these people are not important for us to study, consider that today our genes are programming our bodies in almost exactly the same way as our ancestors of 50,000 to 100,000 years ago. WHAT IS MILK? Milk is a maternal lactating secretion, a short term nutrient for new-borns. Nothing more, nothing less. Invariably, the mother of any mammal will provide her milk for a short period of time immediately after birth. When the time comes for 'weaning', the young offspring is introduced to the proper food for that species of mammal. A familiar example is that of a puppy. The mother nurses the pup for just a few weeks and then rejects the young animal and teaches it to eat solid food. Nursing is provided by nature only for the very youngest of mammals. Of course, it is not possible for animals living in a natural state to continue with the drinking of milk after weaning. IS ALL MILK THE SAME? Then there is the matter of where we get our milk. We have settled on the cow because of its docile nature, its size, and its abundant milk supply. Somehow this choice seems 'normal' and blessed by nature, our culture, and our customs. But is it natural? Is it wise to drink the milk of another species of mammal? Consider for a moment, if it was possible, to drink the milk of a mammal other than a cow, let's say a rat. Or perhaps the milk of a dog would be more to your liking. Possibly some horse milk or cat milk. Do you get the idea? Well, I'm not serious about this, except to suggest that human milk is for human infants, dogs' milk is for pups, cows' milk is for calves, cats' milk is for kittens, and so forth. Clearly, this is the way nature intends it. Just use your own good judgement on this one. Milk is not just milk. The milk of every species of mammal is unique and specifically tailored to the requirements of that animal. For example, cows' milk is very much richer in protein than human milk. Three to four times as much. It has five to seven times the mineral content. However, it is markedly deficient in essential fatty acids when compared to human mothers' milk. Mothers' milk has six to ten times as much of the essential fatty acids, especially linoleic acid. (Incidentally, skimmed cow's milk has no linoleic acid). It simply is not designed for humans. Food is not just food, and milk is not just milk. It is not only the proper amount of food but the proper qualitative composition that is critical for the very best in health and growth. Biochemists and physiologists -and rarely medical doctors - are gradually learning that foods contain the crucial elements that allow a particular species to develop its unique specializations. Clearly, our specialization is for advanced neurological development and delicate neuromuscular control. We do not have much need of massive skeletal growth or huge muscle groups as does a calf. Think of the difference between the demands make on the human hand and the demands on a cow's hoof. Human new-borns specifically need critical material for their brains, spinal cord and nerves. Can mother's milk increase intelligence? It seems that it can. In a remarkable study published in Lancet during 1992 (Vol. 339, p. 261-4), a group of British workers randomly placed premature infants into two groups. One group received a proper formula, the other group received human breast milk. Both fluids were given by stomach tube. These children were followed up for over 10 years. In intelligence testing, the human milk children averaged 10 IQ points higher! Well, why not? Why wouldn't the correct building blocks for the rapidly maturing and growing brain have a positive effect? In the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (1982) Ralph Holman described an infant who developed profound neurological disease while being nourished by intravenous fluids only. The fluids used contained only linoleic acid - just one of the essential fatty acids. When the other, alpha linoleic acid, was added to the intravenous fluids the neurological disorders cleared. In the same journal five years later Bjerve, Mostad and Thoresen, working in Norway found exactly the same problem in adult patients on long term gastric tube feeding. In 1930 Dr. G.O. Burr in Minnesota working with rats found that linoleic acid deficiencies created a deficiency syndrome. Why is this mentioned? In the early 1960s pediatricians found skin lesions in children fed formulas without the same linoleic acid. Remembering the research, the addition of the acid to the formula cured the problem. Essential fatty acids are just that and cows' milk is markedly deficient in these when compared to human milk. WELL, AT LEAST COW'S MILK IS PURE Or is it? Fifty years ago an average cow produced 2,000 pounds of milk per year. Today the top producers give 50,000 pounds! How was this accomplished? Drugs, antibiotics, hormones, forced feeding plans and specialized breeding; that's how. The latest high-tech onslaught on the poor cow is bovine growth hormone or BGH. This genetically engineered drug is supposed to stimulate milk production but, according to Monsanto, the hormone's manufacturer, does not affect the milk or meat. There are three other manufacturers: Upjohn, Eli Lilly, and American Cyanamid Company. Obviously, there have been no long-term studies on the hormone's effect on the humans drinking the milk. Other countries have banned BGH because of safety concerns. One of the problems with adding molecules to a milk cows' body is that the molecules usually come out in the milk. I don't know how you feel, but I don't want to experiment with the ingestion of a growth hormone. A related problem is that it causes a marked increase (50 to 70 per cent) in mastitis. This, then, requires antibiotic therapy, and the residues of the antibiotics appear in the milk. It seems that the public is uneasy about this product and in one survey 43 per cent felt that growth hormone treated milk represented a health risk. A vice president for public policy at Monsanto was opposed to labelling for that reason, and because the labelling would create an 'artificial distinction'. The country is awash with milk as it is, we produce more milk than we can consume. Let's not create storage costs and further taxpayer burdens, because the law requires the USDA to buy any surplus of butter, cheese, or non-fat dry milk at a support price set by Congress! In fiscal 1991, the USDA spent $757 million on surplus butter, and one billion dollars a year on average for price supports during the 1980s (Consumer Reports, May 1992: 330-32). Any lactating mammal excretes toxins through her milk. This includes antibiotics, pesticides, chemicals and hormones. Also, all cows' milk contains blood! The inspectors are simply asked to keep it under certain limits. You may be horrified to learn that the USDA allows milk to contain from one to one and a half million white blood cells per millilitre. (That's only 1/30 of an ounce). If you don't already know this, I'm sorry to tell you that another way to describe white cells where they don't belong would be to call them pus cells. To get to the point, is milk pure or is it a chemical, biological, and bacterial cocktail? Finally, will the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) protect you? The United States General Accounting Office (GAO) tells us that the FDA and the individual States are failing to protect the public from drug residues in milk. Authorities test for only 4 of the 82 drugs in dairy cows. As you can imagine, the Milk Industry Foundation's spokesman claims it's perfectly safe. Jerome Kozak says, "I still think that milk is the safest product we have." Other, perhaps less biased observers, have found the following: 38% of milk samples in 10 cities were contaminated with sulfa drugs or other antibiotics. (This from the Centre for Science in the Public Interest and The Wall Street Journal, Dec. 29, 1989).. A similar study in Washington, DC found a 20 percent contamination rate (Nutrition Action Healthletter, April 1990). What's going on here? When the FDA tested milk, they found few problems. However, they used very lax standards. When they used the same criteria, the FDA data showed 51 percent of the milk samples showed drug traces. Let's focus in on this because it’s critical to our understanding of the apparent discrepancies. The FDA uses a disk-assay method that can detect only 2 of the 30 or so drugs found in milk. Also, the test detects only at the relatively high level. A more powerful test called the 'Charm II test' can detect drugs down to 5 parts per billion. One nasty subject must be discussed. It seems that cows are forever getting infections around the udder that require ointments and antibiotics. An article from France tells us that when a cow receives penicillin, that penicillin appears in the milk for from 4 to 7 milkings. Another study from the University of Nevada, Reno tells of cells in 'mastic milk', milk from cows with infected udders. An elaborate analysis of the cell fragments, employing cell cultures, flow cytometric analysis , and a great deal of high tech stuff. Do you know what the conclusion was? If the cow has mastitis, there is pus in the milk. Sorry, it’s in the study, all concealed with language such as "macrophages containing many vacuoles and phagocytosed particles," etc. IT GETS WORSE Well, at least human mothers' milk is pure! Sorry. A huge study showed that human breast milk in over 14,000 women had contamination by pesticides! Further, it seems that the sources of the pesticides are meat and--you guessed it-- dairy products. Well, why not? These pesticides are concentrated in fat and that's what's in these products. (Of interest, a subgroup of lactating vegetarian mothers had only half the levels of contamination). A recent report showed an increased concentration of pesticides in the breast tissue of women with breast cancer when compared to the tissue of women with fibrocystic disease. Other articles in the standard medical literature describe problems. Just scan these titles: 1.Cow's Milk as a Cause of Infantile Colic Breast-Fed Infants. Lancet 2 (1978): 437 2.Dietary Protein-Induced Colitis in Breast- Fed Infants, J. Pediatr. I01 (1982): 906 3.The Question of the Elimination of Foreign Protein in Women's Milk, J. Immunology 19 (1930): 15 There are many others. There are dozens of studies describing the prompt appearance of cows' milk allergy in children being exclusively breast-fed! The cows' milk allergens simply appear in the mother's milk and are transmitted to the infant. A committee on nutrition of the American Academy of Pediatrics reported on the use of whole cows' milk in infancy (Pediatrics 1983: 72-253). They were unable to provide any cogent reason why bovine milk should be used before the first birthday yet continued to recommend its use! Doctor Frank Oski from the Upstate Medical Centre Department of Pediatrics, commenting on the recommendation, cited the problems of acute gastrointestinal blood loss in infants, the lack of iron, recurrent abdominal pain, milk- borne infections and contaminants, and said: Why give it at all - then or ever? In the face of uncertainty about many of the potential dangers of whole bovine milk, it would seem prudent to recommend that whole milk not be started until the answers are available. Isn't it time for these uncontrolled experiments on human nutrition to come to an end? In the same issue of Pediatrics he further commented: It is my thesis that whole milk should not be fed to the infant in the first year of life because of its association with iron deficiency anemia (milk is so deficient in iron that an infant would have to drink an impossible 31 quarts a day to get the RDA of 15 mg), acute gastrointiestinal bleeding, and various manifestations of food allergy. I suggest that unmodified whole bovine milk should not be consumed after infancy because of the problems of lactose intolerance, its contribution to the genesis of atherosclerosis, and its possible link to other diseases. In late 1992 Dr. Benjamin Spock, possibly the best known pediatrician in history, shocked the country when he articulated the same thoughts and specified avoidance for the first two years of life. Here is his quotation: I want to pass on the word to parents that cows' milk from the carton has definite faults for some babies. Human milk is the right one for babies. A study comparing the incidence of allergy and colic in the breast-fed infants of omnivorous and vegan mothers would be important. I haven't found such a study; it would be both important and inexpensive. And it will probably never be done. There is simply no academic or economic profit involved. OTHER PROBLEMS Let's just mention the problems of bacterial contamination. Salmonella, E. coli, and staphylococcal infections can be traced to milk. In the old days tuberculosis was a major problem and some folks want to go back to those times by insisting on raw milk on the basis that it's "natural." This is insanity! A study from UCLA showed that over a third of all cases of salmonella infection in California, 1980-1983 were traced to raw milk. That'll be a way to revive good old brucellosis again and I would fear leukemia, too. (More about that later). In England, and Wales where raw milk is still consumed there have been outbreaks of milk-borne diseases. The Journal of the American Medical Association (251: 483, 1984) reported a multi-state series of infections caused by Yersinia enterocolitica in pasteurised whole milk. This is despite safety precautions. All parents dread juvenile diabetes for their children. A Canadian study reported in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Mar. 1990, describes a "...significant positive correlation between consumption of unfermented milk protein and incidence of insulin dependent diabetes mellitus in data from various countries. Conversely a possible negative relationship is observed between breast-feeding at age 3 months and diabetes risk.". Another study from Finland found that diabetic children had higher levels of serum antibodies to cows’ milk (Diabetes Research 7(3): 137-140 March 1988). Here is a quotation from this study: We infer that either the pattern of cows' milk consumption is altered in children who will have insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or, their immunological reactivity to proteins in cows' milk is enhanced, or the permeability of their intestines to cows' milk protein is higher than normal. The April 18, 1992 British Medical Journal has a fascinating study contrasting the difference in incidence of juvenile insulin dependent diabetes in Pakistani children who have migrated to England. The incidence is roughly 10 times greater in the English group compared to children remaining in Pakistan! What caused this highly significant increase? The authors said that "the diet was unchanged in Great Britain." Do you believe that? Do you think that the availability of milk, sugar and fat is the same in Pakistan as it is in England? That a grocery store in England has the same products as food sources in Pakistan? I don't believe that for a minute. Remember, we're not talking here about adult onset, type II diabetes which all workers agree is strongly linked to diet as well as to a genetic predisposition. This study is a major blow to the "it's all in your genes" crowd. Type I diabetes was always considered to be genetic or possibly viral, but now this? So resistant are we to consider diet as causation that the authors of the last article concluded that the cooler climate in England altered viruses and caused the very real increase in diabetes! The first two authors had the same reluctance top admit the obvious. The milk just may have had something to do with the disease. The latest in this remarkable list of reports, a New England Journal of Medicine article (July 30, 1992), also reported in the Los Angeles Times. This study comes from the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and from Finnish researchers. In Finland there is "...the world's highest rate of dairy product consumption and the world's highest rate of insulin dependent diabetes. The disease strikes about 40 children out of every 1,000 there contrasted with six to eight per 1,000 in the United States.... Antibodies produced against the milk protein during the first year of life, the researchers speculate, also attack and destroy the pancreas in a so-called auto-immune reaction, producing diabetes in people whose genetic makeup leaves them vulnerable." "...142 Finnish children with newly diagnosed diabetes. They found that every one had at least eight times as many antibodies against the milk protein as did healthy children, clear evidence that the children had a raging auto immune disorder." The team has now expanded the study to 400 children and is starting a trial where 3,000 children will receive no dairy products during the first nine months of life. "The study may take 10 years, but we'll get a definitive answer one way or the other," according to one of the researchers. I would caution them to be certain that the breast feeding mothers use on cows' milk in their diets or the results will be confounded by the transmission of the cows' milk protein in the mother's breast milk.... Now what was the reaction from the diabetes association? This is very interesting! Dr. F. Xavier Pi-Sunyer, the president of the association says: "It does not mean that children should stop drinking milk or that parents of diabetics should withdraw dairy products. These are rich sources of good protein." (Emphasis added) My God, it's the "good protein" that causes the problem! Do you suspect that the dairy industry may have helped the American Diabetes Association in the past? LEUKEMIA? LYMPHOMA? THIS MAY BE THE WORST--BRACE YOURSELF! I hate to tell you this, but the bovine leukemia virus is found in more than three of five dairy cows in the United States! This involves about 80% of dairy herds. Unfortunately, when the milk is pooled, a very large percentage of all milk produced is contaminated (90 to 95 per cent). Of course the virus is killed in pasteurisation-- if the pasteurisation was done correctly. What if the milk is raw? In a study of randomly collected raw milk samples the bovine leukemia virus was recovered from two-thirds. I sincerely hope that the raw milk dairy herds are carefully monitored when compared to the regular herds. (Science 1981; 213:1014). This is a world-wide problem. One lengthy study from Germany deplored the problem and admitted the impossibility of keeping the virus from infected cows' milk from the rest of the milk. Several European countries, including Germany and Switzerland, have attempted to "cull" the infected cows from their herds. Certainly the United States must be the leader in the fight against leukemic dairy cows, right? Wrong! We are the worst in the world with the former exception of Venezuela according to Virgil Hulse MD, a milk specialist who also has a B.S. in Dairy Manufacturing as well as a Master's degree in Public Health. As mentioned, the leukemia virus is rendered inactive by pasteurisation. Of course. However, there can be Chernobyl like accidents. One of these occurred in the Chicago area in April, 1985. At a modern, large, milk processing plant an accidental "cross connection" between raw and pasteurized milk occurred. A violent salmonella outbreak followed, killing 4 and making an estimated 150,000 ill. Now the question I would pose to the dairy industry people is this: "How can you assure the people who drank this milk that they were not exposed to the ingestion of raw, unkilled, bully active bovine leukemia viruses?" Further, it would be fascinating to know if a "cluster" of leukemia cases blossoms in that area in 1 to 3 decades. There are reports of "leukemia clusters" elsewhere, one of them mentioned in the June 10, 1990 San Francisco Chronicle involving Northern California. What happens to other species of mammals when they are exposed to the bovine leukemia virus? It's a fair question and the answer is not reassuring. Virtually all animals exposed to the virus develop leukemia. This includes sheep, goats, and even primates such as rhesus monkeys and chimpanzees. The route of transmission includes ingestion (both intravenous and intramuscular) and cells present in milk. There are obviously no instances of transfer attempts to human beings, but we know that the virus can infect human cells in vitro. There is evidence of human antibody formation to the bovine leukemia virus; this is disturbing. How did the bovine leukemia virus particles gain access to humans and become antigens? Was it as small, denatured particles? If the bovine leukemia viruses causes human leukemia, we could expect the dairy states with known leukemic herds to have a higher incidence of human leukemia. Is this so? Unfortunately, it seems to be the case! Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin have statistically higher incidence of leukemia than the national average. In Russia and in Sweden, areas with uncontrolled bovine leukemia virus have been linked with increases in human leukemia. I am also told that veterinarians have higher rates of leukemia than the general public. Dairy farmers have significantly elevated leukemia rates. Recent research shows lymphocytes from milk fed to neonatal mammals gains access to bodily tissues by passing directly through the intestinal wall. An optimistic note from the University of Illinois, Ubana from the Department of Animal Sciences shows the importance of one's perspective. Since they are concerned with the economics of milk and not primarily the health aspects, they noted that the production of milk was greater in the cows with the bovine leukemia virus. However when the leukemia produced a persistent and significant lymphocytosis (increased white blood cell count), the production fell off. They suggested "a need to re-evaluate the economic impact of bovine leukemia virus infection on the dairy industry". Does this mean that leukemia is good for profits only if we can keep it under control? You can get the details on this business concern from Proc. Nat. Acad. Sciences, U.S. Feb. 1989. I added emphasis and am insulted that a university department feels that this is an economic and not a human health issue. Do not expect help from the Department of Agriculture or the universities. The money stakes and the political pressures are too great. You're on you own. What does this all mean? We know that virus is capable of producing leukemia in other animals. Is it proven that it can contribute to human leukemia (or lymphoma, a related cancer)? Several articles tackle this one: 1.Epidemiologic Relationships of the Bovine Population and Human Leukemia in Iowa. Am Journal of Epidemiology 112 (1980):80 2.Milk of Dairy Cows Frequently Contains a Leukemogenic Virus. Science 213 (1981): 1014 3.Beware of the Cow. (Editorial) Lancet 2 (1974):30 4.Is Bovine Milk A Health Hazard?. Pediatrics; Suppl. Feeding the Normal Infant. 75:182-186; 1985 In Norway, 1422 individuals were followed for 11 and a half years. Those drinking 2 or more glasses of milk per day had 3.5 times the incidence of cancer of the lymphatic organs. British Med. Journal 61:456-9, March 1990. One of the more thoughtful articles on this subject is from Allan S. Cunningham of Cooperstown, New York. Writing in the Lancet, November 27, 1976 (page 1184), his article is entitled, "Lymphomas and Animal-Protein Consumption". Many people think of milk as “liquid meat” and Dr. Cunningham agrees with this. He tracked the beef and dairy consumption in terms of grams per day for a one year period, 1955-1956., in 15 countries . New Zealand, United States and Canada were highest in that order. The lowest was Japan followed by Yugoslavia and France. The difference between the highest and lowest was quite pronounced: 43.8 grams/day for New Zealanders versus 1.5 for Japan. Nearly a 30-fold difference! (Parenthetically, the last 36 years have seen a startling increase in the amount of beef and milk used in Japan and their disease patterns are reflecting this, confirming the lack of 'genetic protection' seen in migration studies. Formerly the increase in frequency of lymphomas in Japanese people was only in those who moved to the USA)! An interesting bit of trivia is to note the memorial built at the Gyokusenji Temple in Shimoda, Japan. This marked the spot where the first cow was killed in Japan for human consumption! The chains around this memorial were a gift from the US Navy. Where do you suppose the Japanese got the idea to eat beef? The year? 1930. Cunningham found a highly significant positive correlation between deaths from lymphomas and beef and dairy ingestion in the 15 countries analysed. A few quotations from his article follow: The average intake of protein in many countries is far in excess of the recommended requirements. Excessive consumption of animal protein may be one co-factor in the causation of lymphomas by acting in the following manner. Ingestion of certain proteins results in the adsorption of antigenic fragments through the gastrointestinal mucous membrane. This results in chronic stimulation of lymphoid tissue to which these fragments gain access "Chronic immunological stimulation causes lymphomas in laboratory animals and is believed to cause lymphoid cancers in men." The gastrointestinal mucous membrane is only a partial barrier to the absorption of food antigens, and circulating antibodies to food protein is commonplace especially potent lymphoid stimulants. Ingestion of cows' milk can produce generalized lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, and profound adenoid hypertrophy. It has been conservatively estimated that more than 100 distinct antigens are released by the normal digestion of cows' milk which evoke production of all antibody classes [This may explain why pasteurized, killed viruses are still antigenic and can still cause disease. Here's more. A large prospective study from Norway was reported in the British Journal of Cancer 61 (3):456-9, March 1990. (Almost 16,000 individuals were followed for 11 and a half years). For most cancers there was no association between the tumour and milk ingestion. However, in lymphoma, there was a strong positive association. If one drank two glasses or more daily (or the equivalent in dairy products), the odds were 3.4 times greater than in persons drinking less than one glass of developing a lymphoma. There are two other cow-related diseases that you should be aware of. At this time they are not known to be spread by the use of dairy products and are not known to involve man. The first is bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), and the second is the bovine immunodeficiency virus (BIV). The first of these diseases, we hope, is confined to England and causes cavities in the animal's brain. Sheep have long been known to suffer from a disease called scrapie. It seems to have been started by the feeding of contaminated sheep parts, especially brains, to the British cows. Now, use your good sense. Do cows seem like carnivores? Should they eat meat? This profit-motivated practice backfired and bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or Mad Cow Disease, swept Britain. The disease literally causes dementia in the unfortunate animal and is 100 per cent incurable. To date, over 100,000 cows have been incinerated in England in keeping with British law. Four hundred to 500 cows are reported as infected each month. The British public is concerned and has dropped its beef consumption by 25 per cent, while some 2,000 schools have stopped serving beef to children. Several farmers have developed a fatal disease syndrome that resembles both BSE and CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jakob- Disease). But the British Veterinary Association says that transmission of BSE to humans is "remote." The USDA agrees that the British epidemic was due to the feeding of cattle with bonemeal or animal protein produced at rendering plants from the carcasses of scrapie-infected sheep. The have prohibited the importation of live cattle and zoo ruminants from Great Britain and claim that the disease does not exist in the United States. However, there may be a problem. "Downer cows" are animals who arrive at auction yards or slaughter houses dead, trampled, lacerated, dehydrated, or too ill from viral or bacterial diseases to walk. Thus they are "down." If they cannot respond to electrical shocks by walking, they are dragged by chains to dumpsters and transported to rendering plants where, if they are not already dead, they are killed. Even a "humane" death is usually denied them. They are then turned into protein food for animals as well as other preparations. Minks that have been fed this protein have developed a fatal encephalopathy that has some resemblance to BSE. Entire colonies of minks have been lost in this manner, particularly in Wisconsin. It is feared that the infective agent is a prion or slow virus possible obtained from the ill "downer cows." The British Medical Journal in an editorial whimsically entitled "How Now Mad Cow?" (BMJ vol. 304, 11 Apr. 1992:929- 30) describes cases of BSE in species not previously known to be affected, such as cats. They admit that produce contaminated with bovine spongiform encephalopathy entered the human food chain in England between 1986 and 1989. They say. "The result of this experiment is awaited." As the incubation period can be up to three decades, wait we must. The immunodeficency virus is seen in cattle in the United States and is more worrisome. Its structure is closely related to that of the human AIDS virus. At this time we do not know if exposure to the raw BIV proteins can cause the sera of humans to become positive for HIV. The extent of the virus among American herds is said to be "widespread". (The USDA refuses to inspect the meat and milk to see if antibodies to this retrovirus is present). It also has no plans to quarantine the infected animals. As in the case of humans with AIDS, there is no cure for BIV in cows. Each day we consume beef and diary products from cows infected with these viruses and no scientific assurance exists that the products are safe. Eating raw beef (as in steak Tartare) strikes me as being very risky, especially after the Seattle E. coli deaths of 1993. A report in the Canadian Journal of Veterinary Research, October 1992, Vol. 56 pp.353-359 and another from the Russian literature, tell of a horrifying development. They report the first detection in human serum of the antibody to a bovine immunodeficiency virus protein. In addition to this disturbing report, is another from Russia telling us of the presence of virus proteins related to the bovine leukemia virus in 5 of 89 women with breast disease (Acta Virologica Feb. 1990 34(1): 19-26). The implications of these developments are unknown at present. However, it is safe to assume that these animal viruses are unlikely to "stay" in the animal kingdom. OTHER CANCERS--DOES IT GET WORSE? Unfortunately it does. Ovarian cancer--a particularly nasty tumour--was associated with milk consumption by workers at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York. Drinking more than one glass of whole milk or equivalent daily gave a woman a 3.1 times risk over non-milk users. They felt that the reduced fat milk products helped reduce the risk. This association has been made repeatedly by numerous investigators. Another important study, this from the Harvard Medical School, analyzed data from 27 countries mainly from the 1970s. Again a significant positive correlation is revealed between ovarian cancer and per capita milk consumption. These investigators feel that the lactose component of milk is the responsible fraction, and the digestion of this is facilitated by the persistence of the ability to digest the lactose (lactose persistence) - a little different emphasis, but the same conclusion. This study was reported in the American Journal of Epidemiology 130 (5): 904-10 Nov. 1989. These articles come from two of the country's leading institutions, not the Rodale Press or Prevention Magazine. Even lung cancer has been associated with milk ingestion? The beverage habits of 569 lung cancer patients and 569 controls again at Roswell Park were studied in the International Journal of Cancer, April 15, 1989. Persons drinking whole milk 3 or more times daily had a 2-fold increase in lung cancer risk when compared to those never drinking whole milk. For many years we have been watching the lung cancer rates for Japanese men who smoke far more than American or European men but who develop fewer lung cancers. Workers in this research area feel that the total fat intake is the difference. There are not many reports studying an association between milk ingestion and prostate cancer. One such report though was of great interest. This is from the Roswell Park Memorial Institute and is found in Cancer 64 (3): 605-12, 1989. They analyzed the diets of 371 prostate cancer patients and comparable control subjects: Men who reported drinking three or more glasses of whole milk daily had a relative risk of 2.49 compared with men who reported never drinking whole milk the weight of the evidence appears to favour the hypothesis that animal fat is related to increased risk of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer diagnosed in US men and is the second leading cause of cancer mortality. WELL, WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS? Is there any health reason at all for an adult human to drink cows' milk? It's hard for me to come up with even one good reason other than simple preference. But if you try hard, in my opinion, these would be the best two: milk is a source of calcium and it's a source of amino acids (proteins). Let's look at the calcium first. Why are we concerned at all about calcium? Obviously, we intend it to build strong bones and protect us against osteoporosis. And no doubt about it, milk is loaded with calcium. But is it a good calcium source for humans? I think not. These are the reasons. Excessive amounts of dairy products actually interfere with calcium absorption. Secondly, the excess of protein that the milk provides is a major cause of the osteoporosis problem. Dr. H egsted in England has been writing for years about the geographical distribution of osteoporosis. It seems that the countries with the highest intake of dairy products are invariably the countries with the most osteoporosis. He feels that milk is a cause of osteoporosis. Reasons to be given below. Numerous studies have shown that the level of calcium ingestion and especially calcium supplementation has no effect whatever on the development of osteoporosis. The most important such article appeared recently in the British Journal of Medicine where the long arm of our dairy industry can't reach. Another study in the United States actually showed a worsening in calcium balance in post-menopausal women given three 8-ounce glasses of cows' milk per day. (Am. Journal of Clin. Nutrition, 1985). The effects of hormone, gender, weight bearing on the axial bones, and in particular protein intake, are critically important. Another observation that may be helpful to our analysis is to note the absence of any recorded dietary deficiencies of calcium among people living on a natural diet without milk. For the key to the osteoporosis riddle, don’t look at calcium, look at protein. Consider these two contrasting groups. Eskimos have an exceptionally high protein intake estimated at 25 percent of total calories. They also have a high calcium intake at 2,500 mg/day. Their osteoporosis is among the worst in the world. The other instructive group are the Bantus of South Africa. They have a 12 percent protein diet, mostly p lant protein, and only 200 to 350 mg/day of calcium, about half our women's intake. The women have virtually no osteoporosis despite bearing six or more children and nursing them for prolonged periods! When African women immigrate to the United States, do they develop osteoporosis? The answer is yes, but not quite are much as Caucasian or Asian women. Thus, there is a genetic difference that is modified by diet. To answer the obvious question, "Well, where do you get your calcium?" The answer is: "From exactly the same place the cow gets the calcium, from green things that grow in the ground," mainly from leafy vegetables. After all, elephants and rhinos develop their huge bones (after being weaned) by eating green leafy plants, so do horses. Carnivorous animals also do quite nicely without leafy plants. It seems that all of earth's mammals do well if they live in harmony with their genetic programming and natural food. Only humans living an affluent life style have rampant osteoporosis. If animal references do not convince you, think of the several billion humans on this earth who have never seen cows' milk. Wouldn't you think osteoporosis would be prevalent in this huge group? The dairy people would suggest this but the truth is exactly the opposite. They have far less than that seen in the countries where dairy products are commonly consumed. It is the subject of another paper, but the truly significant determinants of osteoporosis are grossly excessive protein intakes and lack of weight bearing on long bones, both taking place over decades. Hormones play a secondary, but not trivial role in women. Milk is a deterrent to good bone health. THE PROTEIN MYTH Remember when you were a kid and the adults all told you to "make sure you get plenty of good protein". Protein was the nutritional "good guy”" when I was young. And of course milk is fitted right in. As regards protein, milk is indeed a rich source of protein- -"liquid meat," remember? However that isn't necessarily what we need. In actual fact it is a source of difficulty. Nearly all Americans eat too much protein. For this information we rely on the most authoritative source that I am aware of. This is the latest edition (1oth, 1989: 4th printing, Jan. 1992) of the Recommended Dietary Allowances produced by the National Research Council. Of interest, the current editor of this important work is Dr. Richard Havel of the University of California in San Francisco. First to be noted is that the recommended protein has been steadily revised downward in successive editions. The current recommendation is 0.75 g/kilo/day for adults 19 through 51 years. This, of course, is only 45 grams per day for the mythical 60 kilogram adult. You should also know that the WHO estimated the need for protein in adults to by .6g/kilo per day. (All RDA's are calculated with large safety allowances in case you're the type that wants to add some more to "be sure.") You can "get by" on 28 to 30 grams a day if necessary! Now 45 grams a day is a tiny amount of protein. That's an ounce and a half! Consider too, that the protein does not have to be animal protein. Vegetable protein is identical for all practical purposes and has no cholesterol and vastly less saturated fat. (Do not be misled by the antiquated belief that plant proteins must be carefully balanced to avoid deficiencies. This is not a realistic concern.) Therefore virtually all Americans, Canadians, British and European people are in a protein overloaded state. This has serious consequences when maintained over decades. The problems are the already mentioned osteoporosis, atherosclerosis and kidney damage. There is good evidence that certain malignancies, chiefly colon and rectal, are related to excessive meat intake. Barry Brenner, an eminent renal physiologist was the first to fully point out the dangers of excess protein for the kidney tubule. The dangers of the fat and cholesterol are known to all. Finally, you should know that the protein content of human milk is amount the lowest (0.9%) in mammals. IS THAT ALL OF THE TROUBLE? Sorry, there's more. Remember lactose? This is the principal carbohydrate of milk. It seems that nature provides new- borns with the enzymatic equipment to metabolize lactose, but this ability often extinguishes by age 4 or 5 years. What is the problem with lactose or milk sugar? It seems that it is a disaccharide which is too large to be absorbed into the blood stream without first being broken down into monosaccharides, namely galactose and glucose. This requires the presence of an enzyme, lactase plus additional enzymes to break down the galactose into glucose. Let's think about his for a moment. Nature gives us the ability to metabolize lactose for a few years and then shuts off the mechanism. Is Mother Nature trying to tell us something? Clearly all infants must drink milk. The fact that so many adults cannot seems to be related to the tendency for nature to abandon mechanisms that are not needed. At least half of the adult humans on this earth are lactose intolerant. It was not until the relatively recent introduction of dairy herding and the ability to "borrow" milk from another group of mammals that the survival advantage of preserving lactase (the enzyme that allows us to digest lactose) became evident. But why would it be advantageous to drink cows' milk? After all, most of the human beings in the history of the world did. And further, why was it just the white or light skinned humans who retained this knack while the pigmented people tended to lose it? Some students of evolution feel that white skin is a fairly recent innovation, perhaps not more than 20,000 or 30,000 years old. It clearly has to do with the Northward migration of early man to cold and relatively sunless areas when skins and clothing became available. Fair skin allows the production of Vitamin D from sunlight more readily than does dark skin. However, when only the face was exposed to sunlight that area of fair skin was insufficient to provide the vitamin D from sunlight. If dietary and sunlight sources were poorly available, the ability to use the abundant calcium in cows' milk would give a survival advantage to humans who could digest that milk. This seems to be the only logical explanation for fair skinned humans having a high degree of lactose tolerance when compared to dark skinned people. How does this break down? Certain racial groups, namely blacks are up to 90% lactose intolerant as adults. Caucasians are 20 to 40% lactose intolerant. Orientals are midway between the above two groups. Diarrhea, gas and abdominal cramps are the results of substantial milk intake in such persons. Most American Indians cannot tolerate milk. The milk industry admits that lactose intolerance plays intestinal havoc with as many as 50 million Americans. A lactose-intolerance industry has sprung up and had sales of $117 million in 1992 (Time May 17, 1993.) What if you are lactose-intolerant and lust after dairy products? Is all lost? Not at all. It seems that lactose is largely digested by bacteria and you will be able to enjoy your cheese despite lactose intolerance. Yogurt is similar in this respect. Finally, and I could never have dreamed this up, geneticists want to splice genes to alter the composition of milk (Am J Clin Nutr 1993 Suppl 302s). One could quibble and say that milk is totally devoid of fiber content and that its habitual use will predispose to constipation and bowel disorders. The association with anemia and occult intestinal bleeding in infants is known to all physicians. This is chiefly from its lack of iron and its irritating qualities for the intestinal mucosa. The pediatric literature abounds with articles describing irritated intestinal lining, bleeding, increased permeability as well as colic, diarrhea and vomiting in cows'milk-sensitive babies. The anemia gets a double push by loss of blood and iron as well as deficiency of iron in the cows' milk. Milk is also the leading cause of childhood allergy. LOW FAT One additional topic: the matter of "low fat" milk. A common and sincere question is: "Well, low fat milk is OK, isn't it?" The answer to this question is that low fat milk isn't low fat. The term "low fat" is a marketing term used to gull the public. Low fat milk contains from 24 to 33% fat as calories! The 2% figure is also misleading. This refers to weight. They don't tell you that, by weight, the milk is 87% water! "Well, then, kill-joy surely you must approve of non-fat milk!" I hear this quite a bit. (Another constant concern is: "What do you put on your cereal?") True, there is little or no fat, but now you have a relative overburden of protein and lactose. It there is something that we do not need more of it is another simple sugar-lactose, composed of galactose and glucose. Millions of Americans are lactose intolerant to boot, as noted. As for protein, as stated earlier, we live in a society that routinely ingests far more protein than we need. It is a burden for our bodies, especially the kidneys, and a prominent cause of osteoporosis. Concerning the dry cereal issue, I would suggest soy milk, rice milk or almond milk as a healthy substitute. If you're still concerned about calcium, "Westsoy" is formulated to have the same calcium concentration as milk. SUMMARY To my thinking, there is only one valid reason to drink milk or use milk products. That is just because we simply want to. Because we like it and because it has become a part of our culture. Because we have become accustomed to its taste and texture. Because we like the way it slides down our throat. Because our parents did the very best they could for us and provided milk in our earliest training and conditioning. They taught us to like it. And then probably the very best reason is ice cream! I've heard it described "to die for". I had one patient who did exactly that. He had no obvious vices. He didn't smoke or drink, he didn’t eat meat, his diet and lifestyle was nearly a perfectly health promoting one; but he had a passion. You guessed it, he loved rich ice cream. A pint of the richest would be a lean day's ration for him. On many occasions he would eat an entire quart - and yes there were some cookies and other pastries. Good ice cream deserves this after all. He seemed to be in good health despite some expected "middle age spread" when he had a devastating stroke which left him paralyzed, miserable and helpless, and he had additional strokes and d ied several years later never having left a hospital or rehabilitation unit. Was he old? I don't think so. He was in his 50s. So don't drink milk for health. I am convinced on the weight of the scientific evidence that it does not "do a body good." Inclusion of milk will only reduce your diet's nutritional value and safety. Most of the people on this planet live very healthfully without cows' milk. You can too. It will be difficult to change; we've been conditioned since childhood to think of milk as "nature's most perfect food." I'll guarantee you that it will be safe, improve your health and it won't cost anything. What do you think? Good, bad, uninteresting? Introduction: Peter Carson of Farmington, New Mexico is a 34 year old struggling farmer who has been experiencing an ever-increasing suspicion that his wife, Martha, is having an affair with a local 25 year old college student named Patrick Delaware. Patrick, according to Martha, is a good, handsome young man with his head situated evenly and sturdily on his shoulders. Peter, having been subjected to ungodly amounts of agonizing stress due to a drought that has afflicted his land for two years running, begins to suspect that his wife's fascination with this young man is deeper than mere admiration. We will join Peter as he is just on the verge of making a mistake that he will regret for the rest of his natural life. As you will see, Peter is overcome by jealousy, rage and restlessness. He lets these wild emotions take hold of him and guide him towards an inevitable miscalculation that might just cost him his life. The year is 1943. Chapter 1: A life-ending drought made its way through the west like an unstoppable freight train loaded to the brim. "The harvest will be piss-poor at best this year" thought Peter as he quickly and violently wiped the sweat from his brow, tore his granddad's lucky hat from his head, and cranked the engine of his brand new Fordson model N. "How the hell am I supposed to pay this damn thing off?" he said aloud as if someone were around to hear him. "I've already taken out three mortgages on this forsaken plot and the bank ain't gonna give me no more." Peter's wife, Martha, had left for the market only moments earlier, although Peter suspected she would be making a pit stop in town to have a visit with her newly found friend, Patrick. Lately, all you could hear coming out of Martha's mouth was Patrick this and Patrick that. In fact, just before she left for the market on this very day, Peter recalled his wife saying "You know, honeydew, if you'd have gone to college, like Pat, maybe we wouldn't have to worry about this farm, and these mortgages, and..." "Aw just shut the hell up, woman!" Peter remembered cutting her off and shooting her an indignant, disgruntled looking glare that seemed to come straight from the depths of hell. "I don't wanna hear another damn word about college, or this damn Patrick character, or any of it!" "I'm frustrated enough as it is without having to hear what we shoulda, coulda, and woulda done if we'd uh had the privileges the young folk of today do!" "We're here now ain't we?" "Ain't a damn thing we can do about it!" he remembered screaming just as his wife turned her back to him and opened the creaky, nearly unhinged door of the rusty old '35 Chevy panel truck Peter had bought at auction back in '41. She didn't even say I love you. She just started the Chevy up and sped off, obviously flustered by her husbands offensive, interrupting and excessive outburst. Peter recalled a cloud of dust enveloping him as he chased after the Chevy screaming "Damn it all, woman!" "You better be back here before supper time or so help me god I'm gonna..." and she was gone. Peter put his granddad's lucky hat back on top of his balding head and continued to crank the model N. Not even a putter of fumes would be coming out of the exhaust pipe on this day. "Now what in the hell is wrong with this thing?" Peter muttered to himself as his blood pressure steadily rose higher and higher. His heart was just about on the brink of implosion by the time he unscrewed the gas cap of the model N only to discover that she was bone dry; not even a drop to get her warmed up while he went to town for fuel. "Son of a bitch!" Peter exclaimed as he came to the realization that his wife had just taken the only automobile they had to go off gallivanting, and most likely copulating, with some youthful, care-free son bitch that didn't know a damn thing about how the real world functioned. "Damn it all!" he screamed. "Why have you forsaken me?" he said as he stared into the clouds, reached his open hands to the sky and fell to his knees. "That woman better be back here mighty quick" he thought to himself as his arms dropped to his sides, his chin fell to his chest and he collapsed face first into the arid, lifeless desert floor. The blazing August sun beat down on his back and made him thirst like he'd never before thirsted in his life. "I need a beer" Peter said to himself as he spit out the several granules of sand that had found their way under his lips. "Hell, maybe three or four." "I got time." he said and scoffed as he nodded his head left and right in complete disbelief of the situation his wife had put him in. "I gotta be dreamin" he said as he gradually rose to his feet, haphazardly slapped at his clothes in a misguided effort to dust himself off, and staggered to the back door of his dilapidated and neglected one-bedroom home. When he finally made it to the door, he stood in silence staring at the mat below his feet. His wife had had a friend make it for her and she gav gave it to him as a gift on their fifth anniversary. It said "Welcome Home, Honeydew" in green and yellow lettering. As he stood there, nearly dying of thirst, he remembered the first time his wife had ever called him by that affectionate nickname. It was two weeks after they'd gotten married in 1932. The depression had just about reached it's pinnacle and most folks around the country were struggling to survive. Luckily, Peter had inherited a few thousand dollars from his recently deceased parents and was able to put a down payment on the 120 acre farm that would carry him and his wife through the economic downturn the country was experiencing at the time. Peter had calculated that even with two or three children, Martha and he would be able to withstand the economic drought that plagued the nation. Months before they were married, Peter and Martha had spoken of having children. It was Martha's greatest desire. She had always dreamed of filling their home with the warmth, love and total happiness that her and Peter had the privilege of experiencing as children. Martha had come from a family of seven children and she had many fond memories of her childhood. She remembered every night at supper time, her mother's powerful voice would ring out over the land, "Supper time!," the dinner bell would clang and all the children, including herself, would subsequently rush through the fields, up the stairs on the back porch, through the squeaky screen door and find their spot at the massive, oak table that her father had whittled himself one winter when she was five. She remembered being stirred out of her slumber in the middle of the night by the pitter-patter of her younger sister Dorothy's footsteps as she rushed to the washroom, striving to avoid another accident and wet sheets. She remembered when her father taught her to swim at Lawson's pond and her older brother, Sam, just teased the hell out of her until their father laid a good lickin' down on his bare back. All Martha desired was to provide the same encouraging and sentimental memories for her own children at some point down the line. But soon after Peter and Martha were married, a discouraging and completely unexpected discovery almost tore their relationship apart. It seemed that it just wasn't God's will for Martha and Peter to have a family together. Okay that's it had to add the extra in the details. Thank you two so far!
Is the analysis done well? The Cult of Che: The Ignorant Worship of a Brutal Slaughterer Many people today, especially students and Hollywood celebrities, have been wearing shirts with the likeness of Ernesto “Che” Guevara. Most of the shirts have a vintage look, which is fashionable these days and may play a key in their popularity. The majority of these consumers, however, have no idea who Guevara really was or what he stood for; they wear the clothing in order to follow the crowd. On the other hand, a substantial number of individuals do identify with him. And of course they too, perhaps to a greater degree, exalt Che to deity status. Certainly, Guevara fought hard for his beliefs. But, he was also the infamous Fidel Castro’s chief executioner. Consequently, in spite of the facts, Guevara is painted as a freedom fighter; nevertheless, he was a brutal and ruthless murderer who is worshipped by the popular culture. All through his adult life, Guevara believed socialism was the ideal form of government. Specifically, under Castro’s leadership, he was instrumental in the Cuban Revolution which brought about the downfall of the freely elected Cuban government to bring the despotic Castro being as dictator. After Cuba, he sought socialist revolutions in other countries. He maintained close ties with the Soviet Union, over time he and the Soviets had a falling out, upon which he sought and attained Chinese support for the Cuban regime. We can concur with his defenders that Che often fought hard and had a clear vision of his goal for socialism throughout the world. When he first started out, he believed the only way to help the poor and to achieve true equality in the world was through socialism. His Marxists beliefs made his vision of the world, and for the poor, idealistic. Andrew Sinclair, in his book Che Guevara, quotes Che, from Bolivian Diary, on the anguish over the death of a friend: “With Tuma I lost an inseparable comrade in all the preceding years; he was loyal to the last, and I shall feel his absence from now onwards, almost as if I had lost a son. When he fell, he asked them to give me his watch…I will wear it throughout the war. We put the body on an animal and took it away to bury far from there.” Accordingly, the pain of losing a close friend is not lost on just the noble. Che also felt the sting of death through his comrade- in-arms, whether he was a killer or not, we can all sympathize with him through a close friend’s death. Even a brutal murderer’s feeling come in to play there. John Lee Anderson’s biography Che: A Revolutionary Life, illustrates that Che was a loving father. “For Borrego, Che’s final visit with his three-year –old daughter, Celia…was one of the most wrenching experiences he had ever witnessed…” (700). through this small passage, we can see even the faintest degree of Che’s humanity. While Che’s blood thirsty ways go unrecognized or unnoticed by popular culture, we can see that he had a soft side also. It’s this soft side that is focused on and embellished to an extreme degree, helped along by Cuban propaganda and Hollywood ignorance. Through this ignorance has come the adoration of a man that would have taken delight in the death of those who adorn his face upon their bodies or walls. Ian Michael James notes that Castro said the Che had taken the ideas of Marxist-Leninism to their freshest, purest expression. And Che’s blood, he said, “was spilled for all of the exploited, for all of the oppressed” (44). Guevara, in reality, lived his life according to pure Marxism as much as China currently does. Moreover, we can be sure he would approve of China’s well-known human-rights infringements. In Exposing the Real Che Guevara, Humberto Fontova quotes Roberto Martin-Perez, a prisoner in a Cuban gulag as saying, There was something seriously wrong with Guevara… Castro killed and ordered killing-for sure he killed. But he killed, it seemed to us, motivated by his power lust, to maintain his hold on power, to eliminate rivals and enemies. For Castro it was a utilitarian slaughter, that’s all. Guevara, on the other hand, seemed to relish it. He appeared to revel in the bloodletting for its own sake. You could somehow see it in his face as he watched the men dragged out of their cells. (74) Any human that kills for power is surely depraved, but one who kills for pleasure, is depraved to an even greater degree. We can observe that Guevara was no more a hero than Stalin, Pol Pot, or Mao. Humberto Fontova, a man who fled Castro’s regime in his youth, declared, “The intent and motives of the Cuban revolutionaries were not noble; they were Stalinists from the get-go. Che Guevara would sign his correspondence, before he even went to Cuba, as ‘Stalin II’” (Chapman). A person, who declares himself as the next Stalin, surely cannot be one to admire. Stalin may have been the world’s supreme mass murderer, having killed more people than Hitler had. For Guevara to hope gain such a level as Stalin had, he would have had to exterminate the all of Cuba. To look upon a man as Stalin and hope to become his predecessor, in word and deed, is similar to a person of today’s world branding himself as ‘Kim Jong IL II’. Fontova points out Che’s thoughts on terrorism and the use of weapons of mass destruction in an article for FrontPageMag.com. After the Cuban Missile Crisis, he told the London Daily Worker in November of 1962, “If the missiles had remained we would have used them against the very heart of the United States, including New York. We must never establish peaceful coexistence. We must walk the path of victory even if it costs millions of atomic victims!” If the above quote weren’t ascribed to Che, we can be sure that most people would attribute it to bin-Laden or Ahmadinejad. We can certainly speculate if he made such a remark today, then it would be published around the world and the United States government would surely label Guevara a terrorist and impose further sanctions upon Cuba. Moreover, we can be shocked that such a statement isn’t made more known today by supporters of the true Che Guevara. However, Fontova says one "Could take Che Guevara's writing and put it alongside that of Seung-hui Cho, the Virginia Tech student killer, and you can't tell the difference. Cho comes across as healthy compared to Che, though you don't see Cho T-shirts around, while Che T-shirts are everywhere"(Fund 68-69). This statement is very powerful and compelling. The content of Cho’s writings was made well-known after the shootings, in contrast to Che’s vicious writings, the bulk of which is swept under the rug. Interestingly enough, in time, we may see Cho merchandise for sale at Hot Topic and Kohl’s. College dorm rooms or Obama’s office may someday be trimmed with pictures of Cho. A lock of his hair could go on auction as Guevara’s has (for the bargain price of $119,500(Stoddard). Che Guevara’s image has become exceedingly popular these days. Truly, it should not come as much a surprise since we live in a culture that idolizes murderers and psychopaths, among other miscreants of society. Figures such as Al Capone and Charles Manson have captured the heart of pop culture‘s youth, but none as much as the memory of Che Guevara, El-Carnifero-the Butcher. His life has become romanticized by his admirers and Cuban propaganda. Through his death, he has become divine. Furthermore, while he was, indeed, popular in life, through his death, he has become a martyr for anti-Americanism and, to a greater extent, pop culture. As the Notorious B.I.G. once observed, “You’re nobody, till somebody kills you.” Perhaps these lyrics fit Guevara’s relatively short life well, since death has brought Guevara greater prominence due to nostalgia and romanticization. Society has a tenancy to make figures no matter who they are, into heroes and to cover up any misdeeds of these heroes who have gained popular favor. It can be agreed upon, by any side either Che supporters or detractors, as to the impact Che’s life, death, and personality have made upon the earth and for future generations. Both sides should be reasonable and look at all angles of Che’s life. When looked at critically, Che would, almost doubtless, lose his popular standing in culture; on the other hand, he may only attain undeserved loftier status as humble and gentle man of the people, since western society has a tenancy to esteem the degenerate. Ultimately, the contents of Che’s life are not a matter of option, since history has happened and the facts remain. We would do well to look at his life and ideas critically with no bias. well, so far nobody's been helpful.
Better alternatives than eBay? I'm trying to sell some stuff on ebay, but with all the rules they made about sellers not being able to leave negative or even neutral feedback, I'm trying to find an alternative to eBay. I'm looking for an auction site that won't charge me that much in commissions and will not charge me an arm an a leg whenever I put something up for sale. Any suggestions?
Home Foreclosure Question? My parents home was just recently foreclosed upon. Unfortunately, they did not tell my spouse and I about it until the foreclosure paperwork had been completed, so we were not able to buy the home or try to get them a different type of loan (they were on an ARM). Is there anything my spouse and I can do to get the house out of foreclosure or purchase it before the bank puts the house up for auction? Any suggestions, even if they do not directly answer my question, would be greatly appreciate. I can use any suggestions!

Who Was Responsible? Find the Name's represented by "??"? In May, 1956, an letter written almost 400 years ago was sold at auction in London for £640 ($1,792). Dated September 5, 1572, it is a letter of congratulation from ?? to King Charles IX of France on the St. Bartholomew’s Day massacre of the Protestant Huguenots. That massacre began on August 24, 1572. A church bell tolled at 2 a.m. to give the appointed signal. The assassins, with white crosses on their hats and white handkerchiefs on their left arms, sallied forth to kill. “Kill every man of them—it is the king’s orders,” shouted the court leaders as they galloped through the streets and cheered the armed citizens to the slaughter. The Huguenots were butchered in their beds without regard to sex, age or condition. Many Catholics also fell victim to secret revenge and personal hatred and died by the hands of the ?? assassins. The slaughter continued ;in the end, about 50,000 Protestants were killed. In the letter ?? writes to the French king: “We rejoice with you ..."
www.gunbroker.com - a good choice or better off at a gun show or shop? Howdy, I'm going hunting for the first time this fall and am looking for a nice shotgun. I found a great used Remington 1100 youth (my short arms need the youth stock) on www.gunbroker.com. My buddy recommended the site, but I am a little nervous about buying a shotgun off there versus being able to hold and look at it. Someone has been bidding against me, and I'm a little relieved because I'll bet he/she over bids me towards the end of the auction today. But at the same time it looks like a pretty nice gun, the condition is excellent, etc., and I haven't seen one around here in the same condition. Do you feel comfortable buying one off the site or do you always like to check them out at either a gun shop or gun show? Thanks!

Does anyone know where there is a public car auction in or near Las Cruces, NM or near El Paso, Texas? I just moved to the area, and need a reliable car that wont cost me an arm and a leg. Can anyone help me out there?
poetry. what do u think? Welcome Home Written By Christian S. Passen Yes I'm aware this is not my home. I apologize for intruding, I pray that you'll forgive me if you can find it within your heart. Who am I to think I have the right to take a step into your house? Home is where the heart is, so does that make me heartless? Why not, after all, i'm without a home? Okay you're right, technically yes, I do have a home, but can you honestly call it a home, I mean really? How could you, the air feels cold and unwelcoming, I feel like i'm being watched within my own walls, there's no safe haven, no sanctuary! These walls speak to me, and repeat my own words back to me. My mind is now racing, “I cannot even own my own thoughts without having them be owned by the people around me, What the fuck is that about?” Is this some kind of auction? Thoughts for sale for only the cost of my trust in you being broken, my sanity being tested, and my pathetic life being invaded, going once, going twice sold to the society that puts me down for not conforming to their expected image. Fuck them! They created me by destroying me and all I once stood for. I literally lost everything, who I was, who I tried to be, and who I thought I could be. My views are now corrupted and twisted thanks to...Can I blame my home? I suppose not, it's not my home, my home is within greater walls, beyond this mere pile of bricks. Do I know where, not yet, but I plan to find out. What ever it takes, whatever the cost, I shall search night and day, until my “Home” is found. Sometimes where we go to escape the world is considered a home, but where do I escape? Within this piece of paper, can I can this my home? True, it is my escape, but can I call it my “Home” not exactly. I remain lost in my search, what am I looking for again? Yes, I realize that I said a home, but perhaps my search roots deeper than such a surface level place. Am I possibly just in search for acceptane? Do I need, not so much a home, but a place where I can walk away from without having the fear of returning? No matter how long I am gone, or how far I go, when I return i'll still know that I can come back without fear, and I will be welcomed back with open arms and I shall be embraced by the feelings of warmth and acceptance. Perhaps that is what I long for? When you think about it, what more could you ask for? 12:05am 5/30/09

Are you checking your change?! And for how much would your sell your 20p coin? London, July 4 (ANI): A punter was left ecstatic after he was handed out a rare undated 20p coin worth more than 7,000 pounds in change for his pint. Lloyd Hefferman had been with his friends at The Botolph Arms pub in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, when bar staff gave him the coin, which was amongst others mistakenly released by the Royal Mint in Cardiff last year. A handful of coins had already found takers on auction site eBay, with one fetching as much as 7,100 pounds recently. "I had heard about the rare 20 pence pieces on the news that day, and was talking with my mates about how brilliant it would be to find one," the Telegraph quoted Hefferman as saying. "When I was given my change I thought I would have a look to see if I had one, not expecting to find it and then I just couldn't believe my eyes. "I have had offers from friends and colleagues for up to 500 pounds, but won't be selling it yet." eanwhile, a spokesman for the Royal Mint also said: "Last year there was an unusual lapse in quality control at the Royal Mint. A batch of 20p coins were issued with mismatched sides. The result is a number of 20p coins have entered circulation without a date."

Question about Einstein's view of religion? This is following on from my last question because people didn't believe that new letters by Einstein had been sold at auction - the link is http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2008/may/12/peopleinscience.religion My question is what was Einstein - agno-atheist/deist/pantheist or theist? Also isn't it disrespectful for Christians and Jews to quote the Bible and call atheists 'Fools', yet they are up in arms crying when an atheist calls them a fool?

My new record player won't turn... What am I doing wrong? See the pictures of the record player I bought: http://www.oo-auctions.com.au/prod/EL00203.jpg http://www.oo-auctions.com.au/prod/EL00203/6.jpg http://www.oo-auctions.com.au/prod/EL00203/4.jpg http://www.oo-auctions.com.au/prod/EL00203/2.jpg http://www.oo-auctions.com.au/prod/EL00203/1.jpg And here is the info that went with it when I purchased it on eBay: "It features an elegant design, in rubber wood with a satin finish and a hinged lid, so that the record player can be closed when not in use. With an incredible sound from the built-in amplifier, and full-spectrum speaker, this record player can play 33, 45, and 78 RPM records. Features Finishing material: Satin finish rubber wood Record player speeds: 33,45,78 RPM Manual arm operation Diamond-stylus needle Two dynamic, full-range stereo speakers Volume dial, with full volume range This item does not come with outputs Accessories: manual Colour: Cherry Great gift idea Record Player dimensions: 400 x 355 x 125mm" I turned up my volume, put my 33 record on the player, moved the needle on top of the player until I heard a click - then a gentle humming, motor-like sound came from inside the record player. BUT: the big black disk/wheel thing in the middle of the player that you sit the record on will NOT TURN! What am I doing wrong? What could be wrong with the record player? I will be checking for best answer! The amplifier is built in. The only thing that seems wrong is that the big black disk that is built into it in the middle (which you put the record on) is NOT turning.
How are you doing?

1998 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro: Good Deal? Friend's dad, an uncertified dealer, has been working on cars for a very long time. Attends car auctions and sold a BMW 3-series to one of my friends, and some other Audi A4 to another. What they were able to find me was: 1998 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro 5 Speed Sports Edition? - Silver Exterior, Black Leather Interior Angel Eye Lights 99K Miles Asking price: $5,900; w/ warranty $6,900** **Warranty details still unspecified except for 1 year So... Does that sound like a good deal? Other Questions: Should I be concerned there's that many miles on it already? Would a car with this many miles likely have many problems such as the timing belt and control arms already fixed? What is the likeliness the car won't reach 200K+ miles? What questions should I ask next time I see them? Thanks in advance.

Do I have a sexual harassment case? A few days ago i was harassed by a customer that comes to the property everytime we have a auction. Well when he first came onto the property he grabbed my arm a couple of times and i told him please do not touch me..then the second time he touched my chest and I told him to get your hands off of me and a couple that witnessed it stood up for me also. So right after these guy touched my chest...i went to my DM right away and told her this man was just touching my chest. When i told her she smirked at me and did nothing and my co-worker was right there and also saw that she did. so 20 mins later i'm in the office crying because she didn't do anything about the situation. THen my boss askes me whats wrong and i explained to her that i to her this guy just touched my chest and she did nothing about it and the guy had already left. She then told me that she will call him and tell him that he can't come back to this property. But in my head i was thinking he could still go to other properties. She didn't tell me to file a police report even though i did nor did she have me write a written statement of what happen so it can be reported. So I ended up leaving the office and before i did she also made a comment saying why don't you just get a drink or drink a redbull...she made me feel even more that she wasn't taking it seriously...its been a few days since i've been out of work because i'm so scared to go back...and so far i had to file the report so that the police can take care of the situation because my job failed to help me take action against this guy and also the fact that they didn't even ask me if i wanted to go on leave because I wasn't in the right state of mind....do you think i should file a lawsuit against my company??
Joke...That's more than 5 times a month? The couple go to an agricultural show way out in the countryside on a fine Sunday afternoon and are watching the bull auction. The guy selling the bulls announces the first bull to be auctioned off, "A fine specimen, this bull reproduced 60 times last year. the wife nudges her husband in the ribs and comments, "See! That's more than five times a month!" The second bull is to be sold. "Another fine specimen, this wonder reproduced 120 times last year." Again the wife bugs her husband, "Hey, that's some 10 times a month. What do you say to that?" Her husband is getting really annoyed with this comparison. The third bull is up for sale. "And this extraordinary specimen reproduced 365 times last year!" The wife slaps her husband on the arm and yells, "That's once a day, every day of the year! How about you?" The husband was pretty irrated by now and yells back, "Sure, once a day!! Great!! but you ask the auctioneer if they were all with the same cow!"

'hey, that 10 times a month. what do you say about that?!' her husband is getting really annoyed with this comparison the third bull is up for sale: 'and this extraordinary specimen reproduced 365 times last year!' the wife slaps her husband on the arm and yells, 'that’s once a day! how about YOU?!' the husband was pretty irritated by now, and yells back, 'big deal, once a day! I bet he didn’t have to do with the same cow!'

Joke ~ How about you? A couple go to an agricultural show way out in the countryside on a fine Sunday afternoon and are watching the bull auction. Again the wife bugs her husband, "Hey, that's some 10 times a month. What do you say to that?" Her husband is getting really annoyed with this comparison. The third bull is up for sale. "And this extraordinary specimen reproduced 365 times last year!" The wife slaps her husband on the arm and yells, "That's once a day, every day of the year!! How about you?" "Honk if I'm paying your mortgage" bumper sticker... I'm sorry am I missing something here? I didn't believe the Homeowners Affordability and Stability Plan is to make my taxes pay my neighbor's mortgage payments. I thought my taxes were going to stabilize the housing industry by preventing foreclosures by readjusting mortgage amounts back to a socially acceptable 38% of a families income, or if that wasn't enough the government would pitch in 7% to bring it down to 31%, with the difference being made by extending the lease of the mortgage. For example, my neighbor had to foreclose his condo because he had applied for an ARM (which he now knows is unwise, he hadn't learned or god forbid been told by the lender what that meant) and got a $330,000 loan. He made his payments on time, $1600 a month for the first two years (they were interest only). Two years later, his interest rates readjusted to make his monthly mortgage payment $3200, while his property value had lost $100,000. He tried paying the $3200 a month, but considering it was just interest on the loan, and rents in the area are $1300, the whole thing was just a huge disillusionment. He tried to get the mortgage company to restructure, but they wouldn't. He stopped paying, and the company got $95,000 for the property through auction, losing $230,000 in the deal - $25,000 or so that had been repaid. This, extrapolated across the country, of course made everything extremely unstable, and is only now trying to be contained. For the above example, what I thought would have been extremely wise for Wilshire (the lender) was to take the homeowners documented income, (~5500 a month) make the mortgage 31-38% of that income, fix the interest rate, and extend the terms of the lease to be a 50-year mortgage. Homeowner stays in house, lender doesn't lose $230,000 and the financial system is better stabilized. I thought that was very close to Obama's plan, and so I see this bumper sticker by the Tennessee Republican Party and think it's irrational, inflammatory, and their head is in the ground. My question is, am I misinformed, are they misinformed, or are we both wrong? Thanks to everyone who read the entire post and considered the example. Wouldn't you like to know* Is there any proof that we are paying for people's mortgages other than the costs to refinance them? xiphos* I don't have any problem with what I explained. I think it should have been done over a year ago to stabilize financial flows. Mortgage fraud was horrendous in my area. I still have yet to see any proof that my tax dollars will pay my neighbors mortgage instead of their income. If they are not using tax dollars to refinance the loans, and paying a 3rd outright, then I have a problem with that. Yet, I read the Foreclosure prevention act and I didn't see the government offering any more than 7%. Plowboy* Congratulations, I also bought a condo 30 year-fixed, 20% down, at a 3rd of my income. But where do you get off with that murderer crap? pendejo... Plowboy, you've proven incapable of irrational thought, and if you want to influence others to consider your views as valid, you need to work on that. To link freeing murderers from assisting homeowners who were defrauded, is nothing more than verbal vomit.
Please help me with my car...? I just bought a 1991 infiniti Q45, from an auction. I had to get an jump to get out of there but went directly to get the battery tested in which I was told it was good. From there I made one last stop before going home and it never started again. I even had Triple a come take a look at it and they said it sounded like the internal alarm system was armed but he did not know how to disalarm it. In end I had to pay an extra 125 to have it towed because IT WILL NOT START. The car is too nice for me to get rid of for just anything. What are some of the common problems that these 1991 q’s have? Or any possible ways to start my car up, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Foreclosure Process in Florida?? ? I had to file bankruptcy due to the loss my home took and the ARM rate I was locked into. After SEVERAL attempts to work something out with my lender it became obvious bankruptcy was my only option to avoid the deficiancy judgement. Bankruptcy is done and over with however I am still in the home. I was FINALLY just served my first set of paperwork for the foreclosure last night. Can someone who has been through this tell me what is next? I don't see a date on the paperwork for the auction of the home and from what I understood I could basically stay in the home until the day of the auction? Thanks for your help.
Where can I go to find adoptive parents? This is not a joke...? I know this is a rather strange wish but I am looking for a loving family that knows what true family love and respect is. You see, I am 56 years old and I have never had a family of my own that loved me. My Dad did but he was killed when I was 2 1/2 years old and my Mother has NEVER had anything to do with me since. At this time of year especially it makes it so hard when I see Mothers and Daughters going shopping together and planning family get-togethers. To have a Father that told me they loved me or were proud of how hard I work with all of the difficulties. To have a Father puts his arms around me or a Mother that got a tear in her eye because she loved me. To be able to pick up the phone and call Mom or Dad, to be able to plan birthdays for them, take care of them if they got sick, to share and enjoy long talks, even to be able to have them tell me, “that is not right”. Just to know that a family holds my heart in theirs and cares enough to protect it with love. I am married to a wonderful man but he is all I have. Most of you know that men are not real good listeners of women at times, mine truly tries but it is not the same as having a Mom or Dad to talk to. Is love and respect of a family too much to ask for, especially after all of these years of being alone? This wish is for a legal adoption for a true family. I am white, thin, retired, a great cook and baker, love flea markets, rummage sales, auctions, have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 8 birds, love gardening and canning, like to sew and do crafts, love to decorate, good a planning and organizing, can design and help build most anything, can work on an automobile (don't like it but I can as I have), I love taking care of people and helping my neighbors, anything more just ask. Where csn I look to find a Momma and Daddy that truly care? and would want me?
Why do people think trapping is non-selective? Expierenced trappers are good at catching target animals only? As a trapper it irritates me to read this over and over on this forum. Why do people with no experience assume things and consider it fact. Besides all the reading I have done I have first hand experience. Lets start with Research studies such as Guthery and Beasoms Texas study in 1978. They reported neck snares were about 12 times more selective than foothold traps for capturing predatory mammals. Look it up. Now someone is bound to site some other study but how experienced were the trappers? I have found that I can avoid most all unwanted catches. It is a measure of success. If every morning when I walk my trap line I had a bunch of skunks and possums I wouldn't have much to sell at auction come March. Here is a copy and paste from The National Agricultural Safety Database Snaring is a useful technique to capture animals that cause economic loss, such as coyotes that kill livestock and beavers that cut trees or plug irrigation ditches. Snaring also is popular for harvesting surplus furbearers, one of our renewable natural resources. Snares are effective for capturing target animals, but may capture non-target animals such as deer and dogs if used improperly. Heavy on the "if used improperly". The point is when I am Bass fishing I catch bass not trout. Due to the fact I am at a bass pond using bass lures. Is it possible to accidently catch a trout....yes. However not likley. If I do I let it go if possible, if not guess I am eating trout tonight. In closing just because you don't think it is selective or you lack the ability to be selective does not make it so. When I read things like this it concerns me to think about all the advice people recieve on this forum and its merit. Are you irritated by the arm chair experts? Whats your 2 cents?

Food Aggression! HELP x.x? My 3 year old TB has become very food aggressive. The idiots at our old stable use to take her out of her stall early so she could be turned out with the herd so it was rare she got to finish all her food and it's turned her into a very food aggressive horse. Going into her stall with a bucket of feed is suicide and she becomes a dangerous horse once she knows food it being put out. If you are in range of her, she'll buck out, kick, even strike out with her front hooves during feeding time. If she hasn't had dinner, she won't work and she becomes very aggressive. I wouldn't mind giving her her food before I work her if it wasn't such a dangerous task. She's to the point where I have to enter her stall with a whip to keep her out of my face. It's only grain she does this with. When it's hay, she's as sweet as can be and doesn't mind if you go into her stall and pet her but Grain, you better back off. She's only bitten me once for taking her away from her grain but she has attacked a boy and thrown him into a wall for trying to force her out of her feed, or so I've heard. My trainer has suggested I just keep prodding her until she's out of my space and when she's calm, I allow her to eat. I've tried this and it seems to only make things worse. For now, she turns her butt to me and today made an attempt to buck out at me. When food is in her stall, she is almost unhandelable outside. She'll pace, cry, buck out and kick. Anyone walking around her is going to get kicked and if your handeling her, good luck. She's to the point where we have to put a rope over her nose to even make her hold still. I've tried working her till her feed is ready and it hasn't worked, she's only focused on her food and she just gets angrier and angrier. Progress- I must admit, we have made SOME progress with this method. I'm to the point where I can go in her stall and lead her out before feeding time and walk her back in on a loose lead and make her stand before going to her feed but that's only if I have a lead on her. She has made an attempt to rear on me when she's free in her stall and wanting her grain. Any advice?! Just so you know- I'm not a bad owner! She's a baby, babies do this stuff! I'M NOT GETTING RID OF HER! This would be a stupid reason to ship my horse of to auction. If I have to deal with this, I will but I know she's not happy and I just want her to be happy and not be so possessive. She has not been abused, she's a pasture baby and she's been loved her whole life. Never has a hand been laid on this horse in anger or hate. Charlie is a Thoroughbred but she's never been raced and she is very well trained for my grand prix trainer actually said she'd buy her if we would sell her. Is this just a phase she's going threw and what can I do to stay safe, keep her safe and stop having to arm myself just to feed my horse. My stallion behaves better believe it or not.

Scammed on ebay? Hi, about 3 weeks ago I purchased an xbox from ebay, the price was lower than usuall but it had been an open auction not a buy it now. Was told pickup was not available and that payment had to be through paypal etc. I payed for the item, and the seller said he had posted the item and it should arrive within 2-6 days. The item did not arrive, I emailed the seller about it and he told me aus post said it was at my local post office but its not. I have sent emails asking for the registration number for the registered post with no reply. I even requested contact information from ebay and they gave me the phone number and address. I have tried ringing the phone number 3 times, every time it ends with a answering machine and me leaving a message, haven't heard back from them. Now my problem is whether to report this to ebay, or to my local police[armed with the phone number?]. Will ebay or the police be able to help me, or will they not even investigate? Please give me some advice guys. <3
Are distressed sales factored into the appraisal of a residence? An acquaintance tried to refinance but couldn't because the appraisal of the residence came in too low. A factor was two houses (next door and across the street) were distressed sales, meaning they were foreclosed and sold at auction well below the price the other houses in the market were selling. I am talking about 30% lower. In one of the cases, the owner of the house rented to a group of young men who were making amateur porn and fight videos inside the house, and they totally trashed it. They eventually walked away without paying rent, leaving the owner holding the bag, who also just walked away. In the other case, a couple divorced, and neither could manage the payments on an ARM, and there the Bank also foreclosed. Is it standard practice within the appraisal industry to factor in these distressed sales when determining values?

Do you think the media needs to be a little truthful about the news? ? Because the media is not just reporting about the news, they are making the news. IE(The Economy, in which they are forcing people who are financially responsible AND HAVE A GOOD CREDIT SCORE LIKE 760 to do what people are doing right now who are short of income because they got greedy about loans like interest only, ARM, to conserve and avoid buying a home and avoid getting great deals like a Florida home selling for $99,000 at an auction and making people think that a $400,000 home that is only 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths in california is a good thing).
Smackdown results for 1/2/2009? Match 1 - Ryan Braddock(no crowd reaction) vs R-Truth in a dark match Truth won with a scissors kick. Crowd was very into Truth with his crowd entrance and moves during the match. JR and Tazz made their entrance followed by the opening video and fireworks. No National Anthem. Vickie Guerrero came out and wished everyone a happy new year. She announced Jeff Hardy vs Edge for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble. She also said the SmackDown Rumble entrants would be announced later on. This brought out Triple H who wanted to know if he was in the Rumble. She told him he'd have to wait along with everyone else. He started making the usual fat jokes about her until she frustratingly said he was in. He pulled out Vickie's action figure and took the figures shirt off to show the figure has a skinny body. He also said there were nude pics of her on eBay that were being bid on by someone named ChavoG2009. He said the auction goes off in 5 minutes. She looked shocked and walked off to the back. Finlay, Hornswoggle, Great Khali and Ranjn Singh were shown backstage doing a photoshoot. Match 2 - Finlay & Great Khali vs Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder After Hawkins & Ryder made their entrance they played the Umaga returns video. Finlay & Khali had seperate entrances. Hornswoggle ran under the ring. Khali & Horny did a comedy spot where the ref was distracted by Finlay, Khali gave Hawkins & Ryder a double headbutt then Horny snuck in behind the refs back and also gave them a double headbutt before running back under the ring. Finlay & Khali won when Khali pinned (I forget who) with the Khali slam. After the match, Finlay, Khali & Hornswoggle all hit their finishers. Eve interviewed Michelle McCool. Michelle said Maria was jealous and intentionally cost her the Divas Title. Edge, Vickie & Big Show were backstage. Edge said it was so embarassing having nude pics of his wife on eBay. Show said he saw the pics. Edge got in his face and said that was his wife he was talking about. He told show it's also embarassing losing to a flyweight at WrestleMania. Show stood up and they went nose to nose. Edge walked away and Show smirked. Match 3 - Jesse & Festus vs The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson Festus appeared to hurt his knee catching a Kendrick crossbody off the top rope. Jesse quickly came in. Ezekiel pinned Jesse with the dont-call-it-the rock bottom. I'm guessing Festus was just selling the knee. Match 4 - Hurricane Helms vs Vladimir Kozlov 2 minutes in and we have a boring chant while Kozlov had Helms in a hold. Kozlov wins with a spinebuster. A commercial aired plugging Behind Enemy Lines III on dvd this Tuesday. The arena lights went dark while the Tribute To The Troops video played. A bunch of crew members walked down to the ring in the dark and then walked back. I'm guessing someone was placed under the ring. Jim Ross entered the ring to announce the SmackDown Rumble participants. They are: Triple H, Big Show, Vladimir Kozlov, Shelton Benjamin, at that point Shelton interrupted JR. He told JR to leave the ring. He said he's been the US Champion for over 6 months and in 2009 he'll realize his dream of mnain eventing WrestleMania. He said there isn't gonna be anyone in the Rumble who will stop him. Undertaker's voice was heard "I think you forgot someone". The lights went down, and out from under the ring came The Undertaker who appeared behind Shelton when the lights came on and chokeslammed him. A video played for Kizarny saying he debuts tonight. Michelle McCool came to the ring. She started out as apologetic about what she did to Maria. She then called out Eve. She said she was sorry to Eve too, for what? I don't know. They hugged and Eve left the ring. Just as Eve stepped off the stairs, Michelle jumped out of the ring and hit her in the back of the head with the microphone. She threw her into the barricade and then kicked her head into the barricade wall. Backstage Triple H confronted Vickie and Chavo Guerrero. She said she wants an apology from him. He started making more jokes and she told him that next week he'll have to wrestle 3 times, a tables match, a handicap match and a last man standing match. Match 5 - Kizarny vs MVP MVP got on the mic all mellow and said "Whoever it is I'm fighting, just bring him out." As if he knew he was going to lose. Good arm drags and a running dive through the ropes by Kizarny. MVP had more of the cheers. The longer the match went on there were spatters of boos for Kizarny. MVP went for the playmaker, but Kizarny reversed it into a double underhook ddt with his legs around MVP's waist and then rolled it into a pin for the win. Following the match Mr. Kennedy came out and told MVP that he got wh-izz-ooped. A commercial for the Royal Rumble aired. Also next week will be Carlito & Primo vs Kendrick & Ezekiel for the WWE Tag Team Title Match 6 - The Hardys vs Edge & Big Show Edge got on the mic all mad saying after the R
