will someone out bid me on this: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=261089649? I'd like to add it to my collection however I recently got a tough bill that I have to pay. Whats a hk91/g3 sbr parts kit or fully assembled rifle minus trigger group worth these days? Will one of you out bid me on it? would it be wiser to try and win it at a low price which my bid is at (300 dollars) then sell it for a small profit? input please? No its not a joke, this would be my first HK/german type "black rifle" I know HK stuff goes for mega bucks but I'm not sure how much the kit is worth nor if its a decent investment I do pay all my bills dipshit and have the means to, but a family member has recently needed my help with some medical bills. Is there anyone on here who isn't a troll?
Is it cheaper to buy a handgun from an online auction site like gunbroker or to go to a gunshow and purchase 1? i have been looking for a sig p250 or a walther p99c as or qa. the as/qa's will run about 640$ new on online gun auction sites, while the sig p250 will run about 500 new. would it be cheaper to find a local gunshow to buy these guns? are gunshows typically a good place to get deals or are their prices pretty much the same as local stores? thanks

AR-15 lowers on Gunbroker.com? I havn't seen in a auction yet where the seller says the lower they are selling has to go through a FFL dealer.. www.gunbroker.com - a good choice or better off at a gun show or shop? Howdy, I'm going hunting for the first time this fall and am looking for a nice shotgun. I found a great used Remington 1100 youth (my short arms need the youth stock) on www.gunbroker.com. My buddy recommended the site, but I am a little nervous about buying a shotgun off there versus being able to hold and look at it. Someone has been bidding against me, and I'm a little relieved because I'll bet he/she over bids me towards the end of the auction today. But at the same time it looks like a pretty nice gun, the condition is excellent, etc., and I haven't seen one around here in the same condition. Do you feel comfortable buying one off the site or do you always like to check them out at either a gun shop or gun show? Thanks!

Guns from the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's seem to have a very thick layer of high gloss varnish, why is this? On the internet now, on GunBroker, Auction Arms, and GunsAmerica, they now give high quality close up photos of shotguns and rifles. I prefer older guns from the 1970's. I notice, however that in that era, they REALLY like high gloss varnish on their guns. They were very shiny. Was this put on to protect the finish of the gun, or was a hunting rifle just expected to be beautiful and shiny back then? And they would have white spaces on the butt pad, and end caps on the grip, and different wood on the tip of the forearm. I also notice they were willing to put recoil pads as a stock item on non Magnum rifles back then. I never see that any more. Why is that?
Is $225 a fair price for a mossberg 12 guage and case, both brand new? http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=96866855 Theres the link to the two im selling together. What is a reasonably priced 30-06 that I can purchase from Walmart, Basspro, Dicks,Gunbroker etc.? I recieved some great advice on which rifle caliber to purchase, but is there a recomended model for someone that will see average hunting time and most shots will be 100-300 yards. I'm not looking into an inexpensive firearm but not junk, something of decent quality. I have Walmart, Dicks, Basspro in my area and I'm a little cautious about auction online site but would try if recomended. Any other places? I was also going to look for sales but not sure if rifles are sale priced that often. Also, should I buy bulk quantities of rounds and where should I purchase? Thanks in advance 30-06 seems to be the "in between" ,so that's why I decided that me be best. I'll probably shop by Dicks, Basspro, Walmart this evening and see what they have, would like to pick up a decent scope or see if they sell in combo. The prices from the last time seem to vary quite a bit.

How much is this shotgun worth? Need a quick reply please..? From what I've read so far, I really like the Mossberg® 500 J.I.C. Mariner with pistol grip - but only the Mariner style. It appears the "kit" may be overkill, so I would like to maybe save a few bucks and find this item as a stand alone. I went to this site called Gunbroker.com and found one there that looks really nice and it has a heat shield and the pistol grip addition I want. The thing is, I need some opinions on how much this thing is worth, or what you would pay for it? As you can see from the link I've provided, it is being sold at an auction site with the starting bid of $0.01 and a buy-it-now price of $600 and change (plus $33 for shipping). From my price research I definately feel the buy-it-now price is too high, but I have no clue as to what exactly would be a good price for this item? That is my bid you see at the auction. So, is this a poor, good, great, or excellent shotgun and what would you pay to have it in your hands? Thank you in advance. :) Here's the link - the photos (4 of them) are at the bottom of the listing. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=119798526

I have a gun question ? On sites such as gun broker they are selling guns completley taken apart that should be fully automatic. Are they really fully automatic and are they legal to buy in CT do you need a class three since its just a bunch of gun parts. Here is the link http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=120792912 Thanks Ben
Looks like I broke down my selection: Ruger P95 or SR9? It seems I have done my research and now I am considering these two 9mm handguns. They are priced relatively close and the reviews seem to be great for both. Since this is my first pistol, do you have any recommendations? The SR9 is a striker fire and the P95 has a hammer. Basically that is the main difference and the SR9 holds 2 more rounds and the slide is of a slimmer complexion. Here is the link to show you both. SR9: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=153442627 P95: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=152830833 Please share some knowledge if you can I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

taurus 38 special or smith and wesson 38 special? im looking to by either or. And im talking about the older models. Like the Model 37 for the smith and wesson and model lower 80s for taurus. I would think that smith and wesson would be the choice. But i have found that for those models they seem to be priced the same which by observation would lead me to think that the quality would be the same? here are links for both: taurus : http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=143305365 smith and wesson: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=143767861 thanks for your input

Is the Taurus Raging Bull a good revolver? I'm once again in the gun buying mood, but have never tried any of Taurus' products. I was looking on gunbroker.com, and found a used Taurus Raging Bull chambered for the 454 Casull cartridge, for sale with an asking price of $649. Is this a good gun for that price? Here is the link: http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=137928973 M1911/HK P7, I can't use a 22 or 38 to hunt with here in Ohio, so please don't recommend that. No rifles in Ohio either. Must be shotguns or guns with a minimum of 357 caliber and 6" barrel. I prefer something much bigger than 357. I have a 10mm, but I really want something even bigger than 44 magnum, so 454 casull is minimum caliber for me. Thanks All I really want to know is if this is a good price for a Taurus Raging Bull

Would rather have done a ftf but havnt had any luck finding even the blued in my area between 850 new or 600 well worn.
Are the Smith and Wesson Sigma's any good? I am in the marked for a cheaper (price) 40SW handgun which will be my first handgun and want it to be practicable and something I will keep for a while. Just wondering if a Sigma is a good choice since I'm still in college paying a tuition and am on a tight budget! Thanks again. Found this: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=152933457 I have shot a 9mm great before. A 40SW shouldn't be too much to handle would it? If it is not a good pistol, please share something you would recommend. I want it to be a range pistol and still have the ability to be carried for my CCW.
M1-Garand Bayonet: Part 2? OK! I now know what I'm going to get, and its a WWII bayonet. But I've ran into a problem, all of the WWII ones are long!(but I will just get one anyway) and so I would like to know if thus bayonet http://www.e-gunparts.com/product.asp?chrProductSKU=718490&chrMasterModel=2070zM1%20GARAND&idDept=258 is from WWII (I think it is) and if it is then can it fit this sheath? http://froogle.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=66461308 And lastly, if the bayonet and/or bayonet don't fit or arn't from WWII then can you give me a site that DOES sell WWII bayonets and/or sheaths? Thanks!
Will any AR 15 accessories fit my DPMS Panther Lite 16"? I Have a DPMS Panther A3 Lite with 16" barrel (picture here: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=140650463#PIC ) Will any AR 15 accessories fit it? Can I change my barrel for a 16" to a 20" or 24"? Will the Spikes Tactical .22 Conversion kit work? (link here: http://www.spikestactical.com/z/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=26&products_id=176 ) Thanks!
What gun next??? 10 points!!!!? OK HERE AT THE LINK BELOW IS A PICTURE OF MY CURRENT GUNS... http://www.flickr.com/photos/30016315@N08/2915924533/ NOW HERE IS ARE LINKS TO THE TWO GUNS I AM TRYING TO DECIDE BETWEEN http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=111881560 http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=111914277 WHAT ONE DO YOU RECOMMEND AND WHY? BEST RESPONSE GETS THE BEST ANSWER.
Anyone tried out the North American Arms folding revolver? I saw a neat looking little gun at a gun store nearby. It's the North American Arms .22 folding revolver. Has anyone seen this? Has anyone fired it? I'm getting my CCW this week and this looks like a good concealed carry weapon. The guy at the gun shop said he has a customer who bought it and likes it, but I want some objective opinions. A link to a picture of the gun is here: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=139330834#PIC
Can you carry any type of pistol with a CCW license? They have replica MP5 pistols called a GSG-5, they have a version that is actually classified as a pistol its a .22. With a CCW license would that give you permission to carry one of these on your person? If it does, thats the craziest thing ever! haha. http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=120510395 Thats a picture of the pistol. Actually if you youtube the name theres a bunch of reviews that people say they put over 200 rounds through it without 1 malfunction. But oh man could you imagine someone breaking into your home and just lighting them up with a good 20 rounds.
John D, your Desert Eagle question? The asker of this question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmHJav2xAaWCAjTKdU1bDZLsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20091001144617AAxrqDj&show=7#profile-info-rHDJxndDaa emailed me and said: Thanks for the constructive answer, I take it you have had bad experiences with the desert eagle? I tried to answer with an email, but it wouldn't send, so, hopefully John D, you will see this. Well, they are pretty bulky, and have a bad rep of jamming problems. The fact that it fires rimmed rounds (.357 Mag, .44 Mag,) plus the gas operation system contributes to the jamming majorly. I have heard of some DE's that can't so through a mag without jamming. Another cause of jamming is the fact that most revolver rounds (357 Mag, .44 Mag) usually have flat noses and exposed lead which cause the round to not feed properly. I see no reason in spending good money on a DE: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=141707080. Let's say you are using it for handgun hunting, and you chose a .44 Mag. I would suggest that you chose a revolver instead: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=141526442, first reason, it will save you at LEAST $200, second, the revolver will be more accurate, third, it will be was easier to hold because the grip is considerably better shaped, fourth, the revolver will be lighter at around 2.5-3 lbs, the DE will weigh about 4.2, there is many more reasons that I could sit here and spout, and all of them apply to every use you could possibly imagine for this pistol. But I have things to do. The ONLY advantage I can see to the DE over a revolver is you have 2 extra rounds. But what for if you can't hit anything right? I suspect though, that you are just buying one to take to the range and have some fun? Because your think it would be cool to tell your friends that you have a DE? I will admit, it is fun to explode pumpkins, but it isn't fun when you jam up every three shots. Ammo is super expensive too, wow, the cheapest would be .357 Mag but still way pricey, and the most expensive is .50 AE. PLEASE don't tell me you want a .50 AE Desert Eagle! Do you realize it costs $8.00 per magazine? I mean literally! BANG! One dollar! BANG! Two dollars! BANG! Three dollars! BANG! Four dollars! etc, . . . you get the point . . . But whatever, it is a free country, thank God, and past brave (and some who weren't brave at all but did it anyway) Americans who gave their live so you could live yours, so, buy what you want, it isn't my business. But I wouldn't ever spend good money on a DE. Sincerely, Jason If anyone else has anything to argue or add, please do. As I said, I tried to email, but it wouldn't send. If you add good info, I will give you best answer.
Do These AR-15 Mags Look Like a Good Deal? A friend bought some from this guy, and said he was good to deal with, and that he has a bunch of these left. What do you guys think? http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=139154781 Actually, at the buy it now price, they're only $18 each, and the ones you linked to are $19.20 with the $5 shipping. Sorry, my bad math. Forgot to calc. shipping on the ones on eBay. So it's an 80 cent difference per mag, but only if I do the buy it now price. His reserve price has to be lower. Sorry, my bad math. Forgot to calc. shipping on the ones on eBay. So it's an 80 cent difference per mag, but only if I do the buy it now price. His reserve price has to be lower. If these are too expensive, could someone point me to some that aren't? If I get them for, say, $75 + $10 shipping, that's $85, which makes them $17 each including shipping. Where, exactly, can any of you beat that?
Any opinions on the Sig P250 9mm handgun? I want to purchase my first semi automatic handgun. I already own two revolvers, a shotgun, and three rifles. So, I figure it's time to move on to the autoloader. I am considering purchasing this gun: http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=133311973 How would you feel about using it for self defense and carrying it in a concealed holster?
Why is the UZI illegal ??? Ok I live in NY State and I have been told by 2 gun dealers that owning an UZI by Vector Arms is illegal in NY. Does anyone know why? I looked through all of the legal documents and found nothing about this weapon on any list. They have UZI by IMI on the list but nothing about this weapon made by Vector Arms. Gun I want - http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=103266559 NYS law - http://www.nysrpa.org/nygunlaws.htm

Question about LC Smith shotgun ? I have an LC Smith shotgun that I am wanting to sell. I know that it was made by the Marlin Firearms Company between 1969 and 1973 and is a true "side-lock" double gun. It is a 12 gauge and has 28 inch barrels. Here is a photo of the shotgun.... http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=120402363 I have the original box and all factory paperwork. However, I can not find anything that tells me how this gun is choked! (I've examined the gun, the factory manual and it does not say.) Does anyone know how these 1969-73 US manufactured shotguns with 28 inch barrels were choked? Thank you.

How would you build an action for a .50BMG hunting rifle? .50BMG's are the pinnacle of the civilian rifle power, in the popular view (yes there are larger safari firearms, i know) and as i've collected and worked on many firearms, the desire to own one has grown. Now that the gov't is looking democrat majority in every branch, i figure i better hurry up and grab a .50BMG while i can. In looking through them, the cheapest one i could find were $1800 Vulcan's on gunbroker's auction site. But then i found a 35" finished heavy target barrel chambered in .50BMG (including the chamber in the barrel, so only the rim sticks out) fully heat treated and stress relieved, for $200 to my doorstep. I sorta have to think the barrel makes up more than 1/9th the value of a firearm, so it looks like a deal to me. I have a degree in machining, my best friend is a mechanical engineer, as are both my parents, so i have some resources to have look over my blueprints. I think even if i buy very nice steel to use for every part, so long as i do the work myself, I should be able to make all the pieces, and have a finished rifle under $500. And with all that money i saved i can even afford to buy TWO boxes of ammo (haha... yeah i know that's the kicker here, especially since i don't reload (time to find a .50 buddy who does!) ) So the theory is that i just have to cap off the end of this barrel, and hit a firing pin, and it'll all work. The most simple, and strongest, design is to come off the barrel with a larger diameter steel sleeve, which has thin EDM slices to split it, and strong bolts to create a clamping collar out of it all, that then covers the end of the barrel completely. Drill a hole in the base big enough for a round to slide in through, then mill a slot in the top where a block (carrying the firing pin) is slid down and locked in place to trap it in, like how the action on an artillery or tank cannon works. Overbuilt for safety is the key here. Another option is to make a bolt action, with rediculously beefy lugs. On all designs, a thick-walled steel tube will create the body of the action, in case of any rupture inside, it should contain the shrapnel. Anywhere i say tube, i mean i would be using hardened steel hydraulic piston sleeves, ordered in the diameters needed, then milled on to add slots and holes for bolt lugs to lock in. Another idea is a hybrid of the two, where the bolt is a good 6" long slug of steel, with an extractor on the right side (like on an M16), the firing pin riding in the middle and a notch halfway through for a hammer to come up and hit it (again, like an M16 bolt) and an ejecting pin on the left side of the bolt, held back by a spring (not forward) so on a complete backstroke the pin hits the rear of the receiver and THEN pushes the cartridge out to the right. When fully forward (against the rear of the barrel) the whole bolt would have a block placed behind it, taking up the space between it and the rear of the receiver, so there is nothing but solid steel everywhere, no lugs to worry about shearing off. To make that function easier, a linkage would connect the two, so when the block was pulled down, it would pull the bolt backwards (like an MP7, except not recoil-powered). Then you add a standard-style magazine, a pump action hand to run that block up and down via a slotted plate, and PRESTO you have a pump-action .50BMG hunting rifle, about 30lbs, that is insanely strong behind the shell. Oh, and the whole bolt group as explained above, would ride in yet another larger sleeve, with a huge recoil buffer spring behind it. Perhaps the recoil of that whole assembly (barrel included) is what runs the action through interaction between the vertical-sliding block and slotted plates along the sides (so it follows the slots downwards as the barrel/action move rearwards, extracting the shell and chambering another round). Maybe this is kind of a rant... but i guess i don't have anybody in person to talk about my ideas with... so you get this. Luckily my computer modelling software lets me "build" the whole thing before i cut a single piece of steel. And if the design is good enough, and works decently, maybe i could even patent and/or sell the design. Because if the current price for a semi-auto .50 is barrett's $8600 model, I think some people would buy one that's a bit cheaper. But I'm not gonna do that... i'll leave that up to whatever company buys my design... even that is so far down the road it's almost absurd to talk about at this point. Any thoughts, opinions, comments, etc?
Trying to find a Remington 870 SPS Super Magnum with a camo finish? I need a new duck gun for next season and will without a doubt go with this gun, but I'm having trouble finding a website/retailer that has the EXACT gun i'm looking for. I dont want the turkey gun and i DONT want the thumbhole. I want this exact gun BRAND NEW... http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=119964418 I know that the gun i'm looking for is right there in that link, but i want to see if there's other websites or stores I could purchase this gun from first. please post the link in the answer if you've found something. Is this SKS legal in california? Hi, Is that SKS really california legal? I ask because it appears to me to have a telescoping stock and a pistol grip... but the ad clearly states California legal. http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=119530766 Am I misinterpreting the law? I would of posted at calguns.net... but for some reason my account is not activated.... so maybe if someone has an active account there they could post it in the rifles section and send me a link to it? Thanks!!! I'm only asking if that particular modificed sks is legal... i'm aware that stock sks with fixed mag is legal in california. California has special restrictions... so the expiration of Federal assault rifle ban had no effect so I believe certain cosmetic features are regulated.

When selling a gun on gunbroker, how do I receive pay-pal payment.? I am selling my first gun on gunbroker. I checked the box to except either cash or paypal payment only so I knew I couldn't get screwed. I obviously have a gunbroker account, I also have a paypal account. Though unlike on ebay they are not linked. Gunbroker never asked me for any paypal info. When my auction ends in two days, what info do I give to the auction winner to ensure they can pay me through paypal. Please only answer if you are familiar with what I am talking about.

Over Draft Fee's, UPS Mischarged me Hard to explain Please read? Ok heres the story, I do alot of online auctions (Ebay, Gunbroker, etc), all the money that is sent to me goes in to a certain bank account, no personal banking is done with this account just auction type stuff. So i had about $200 dollars in the account and I had to ship 3 packages, which came to a total of 91.00. So I take them to the UPS store and have them shipped, well the lady made a mistake and instead of charging me once(91.00) she charged me 3 times(273.00). So this inturns overdraws my bank account by about 70.00. She has no idea that it happen nor did I, I sign only one slip and go on my merry way thinking I have money in the account and some spending cash for the weekend. So i go buy a few small things, have a few beers at the bar, and such, all this time thinking i have over 100 dollars in my bank account. So today i check my bank account its -190 dollars negitive. I figure out that she charged me 2 times more then she should have plus every transaction that i made while it being over charged cost me a 20.00 fee by my bank. So i made 4 transaction (80.00 dollars in overdrafts). Nevermind the math its late, but what should i do about this, i know i can get my 180 back from UPS but is there anything i can do to get my over draft fee's back for something that happened that it wasnt my fault? Any advise would be great
What to do with a gun estate? My son’s father in-law passed away a few days ago and left a gun collection behind. Maybe 30 or so guns both hand guns and long guns. So my son is left with the chore of finding the vale of these guns and selling them for his mother in-law. So folks, besides the obvious online gun auctions like Gunbroker.com, where can he go to find their true value? I can address the condition of the firearms but assessing their value is out of my league. And we live far from any large city. I advised him to photo all of them as well as list info on them. Are there online firearm appraisers that can be trusted? Thanks. There are no consignment shops in the small nearby town. Folks the only way to ANY city over 2,000 people is by plane or boat 90 + miles away or by car 8 hours away and that would be through Canada whom would frown on all those guns going through. The red tape to do so would take months and be a mile long. Thanks though for the info. Thanks John r I may just do that in a few days. They are understandably in grief now, so it will be a few days before I can. Thanks DJ, some good advice. You know; I love living remote, but at times like this it makes things a bit hard. Fisher12 thanks for the input and I agree they are family heirlooms. However the man that passed away did not set things up for his wife at all. No bank account, no bonds, no life insurance nothing! She owns the land and a cabin and all the stuff he left on it. Now she has bills to pay with zero income and about $300,000 bucks of heavy equipment many boys toys in the yard, that has sat there for decades along with the guns inside. And sadly he didn’t take care of any of it. So its sell or she will loose it all. But if my son sells it and invests that money she will be ok. If he had taken care of the heavy equipment and the boy toys they wouldn’t be a pile of rust now and the guns would stay in the family. Such a shame and a waste. Thanks guys!
online handgun....must ship to FFL??? whenever i go to auction arms.com, or impactguns, or gunbroker, or gunsamerica...they all say that when you buy a handgun, it has to be shipped to the buyer's FFL dealer. does this mean you have to be 21 to buy a handgun online? if you are a gun control supporter do not answer this question.
