How can I Exclude America from Ebay Auction? I live in Japan and am shipping vintage goods out of Japan. A new law is in place which prohibits the US from receiving large shipments from here, anything over 16oz. So now my 'global' shipping is limited to all countries outside of the US. I paid for this over the phone via MasterCard and he says he shipped it out shortly after that. Well, the infamous blizzard hit Denver and now there's a good possiblity it won't arrive in time, so I kindly sent the man an email explaining that I'm going to have to purchase another one of these from the dept. store and that I will send his item back unopened and would appreciate a refund. He tells me that he's not going to do that...his auction never said anything about a refund policy. What options, if any, do I have...thank you!

How do I sue someone over an Ebay purchase dispute? I live in the same city as the seller. No product delivere I bought two Dell 26" LCD TV from him. We met up at a local store and made the exchange. How to delete a list (not a listing) in ebay? With the new design for ebay i don't know how to delete a list. I don't mean a listing for an auction. I mean the list you use to organize your watchlist. I tried using ebay live chat but I just waited for 15 minutes and when I finally talked to the person they kept telling me how to delete a listing even though I explained to them several times I meant a list. Question about Ebay? I had stuff for sale on Ebay, auction ended, 2 of the 3 didn't pay. In the discription I said if you haven't paid in so many days I'd relist/resell the item. Days came and went, I resold the items. Then, a week later one of the people goes to pay, I refund the money, tell him I resold the item because he didn't pay in time...a week later he sends me the money again, I refund him the money again and explain again that I do not have the item it was sold due to him not paying. A week later he sends the money again. I don't know what to do. I went on Ebay Live help...and the person said they didn't know what to do. So I went on again a few hours later and asked someone else and they said I needed to fill out a claim for an unpaid item...which is clearly not the case. The total (with shipping) was under $20, so it's not huge, but I don't want him to make a claim agianst me that he paid me and I never sent the item.... What do I do? By the way...I should have put this earlier...After the amount of days I said in the discription he had to pay or I would relist, before I relisted I contacted Ebay and asked them if I technically could...they said I could because I listed it in the description.

Free eBay-like auction site? I have some books an computer parts I am planning to sell, but I can't figure out what site to sell it on, I know I want to sell the stuff on an auction site, as the local PC stores that buy parts, and stores like Half-Price Books, give you little money, then turn around and sell it for twice as much, but I am stuck between Craigslist and eBay I like the way that if I post an item up on eBay, buyers from all over the world can bid on it, and I am not stuck selling what I want to sell within my own city (at that rate, i'll just ask around if people want it, and even then, I won't make many sales), but the selling prices are too high, and by the time I buy a space for my item(s), upload pictures, and make the page ready to view, i'll be paying more in auction fees then I would be selling the actual item for, then I would just be giving the stuff away for free (the bidders would pay, but I wouldn't make anything) and having to pay eBay the extra I like the way I can post an item up for free on Craigslist, upload pictures for free, ect. for free, but for the way the page is layed out, I am stuck with putting my ad/post on a page that only people from the city I live in will look at, and at that rate, I will just ask around, I would highly doubt that anybody around whee I live will want to buy the stuff I am trying to sell, and even if there are buyers, I wouldn't have the bidding amount I would have on a site like eBay, so either I won't get any bidders, or the bidders I do get will be such a small amount, i'll make barely any money So is there an auction site that has the best of both worlds, but yet not any of the worst? Where to sell a large collection of Hot Wheels cars, other than EBay, we live in Ontario, Canada? Her is our problem. My son and I began buying Hot Wheels and Match box cars in the late 80's. At first we were conservative, but as time progressed we became obsessed. When the best time to end a jewelry auction on ebay? I make jewelry for a living and recently started selling on ebay. I read alot of reviews with people saying Sunday evening is the best day because the most people are home and online. However I have found this to be my WORST end time. Since everyone has the same idea as me it seems like there are more listings on ebay at this time. And more listings mean less visibility for a new ebayer. If the bottle were refilling and she also needs money to escape an abusive relationship (see her other closed auctions) then why would she get rid of a jar that keeps refilling if she needs money. How do people decide to bid on these things when it is a lie, and how does a seller like this live with herself?

Is it to soon to file a complaint on Ebay? I won a dress in an ebay auction at the end of November. I paid with Paypal on November 30th and made a note with the payment that I was using the dress for a themed New Years party. A few days later I sent the seller an e-mail asking if they had received my payment. No response. So a week later I sent another e-mail explaining that it was important that I receive the dress at least a week before New Years so I needed to know that she had shipped it. No response. So a week ago I called her. She didn't even live at the house that ebay provided the # for anymore. The gentleman that answered the phone said he would see the seller in the next 2 days and get the situation straightened out. Well it's a week later. I've received no responses from the seller and no dress. Am I jumping the gun to file a complaint with ebay or should I wait another week to see if the dress shows?

So I went ahead and paid for the item. after paying for the item, I realize that to have the item shipped to me is extremely expensive because I live in the Caribbean island of Dominica, and shipping from the USA only happens in Florida, I must have a trucking company haul/carry (Cost me $1000. cheapest) the boat from Illinois to Riviera Beach, Fl then have tropical shipping ship the boat ($2300) to the Caribbean island of Dominica. , the buyer is charging me $25 for each additional day after the end of 7 day which he has the boat in his yard. Where is a good place to buy vintage cameras, other than ebay? So I have just gotten fed up with ebay snipers outbidding me at the last second. I refuse to use the sniping program because it is unfair. I love old cameras and love collecting them, not so much for the dollar value but because I enjoy looking at them and using them.
