If bank foreclosure auctions occur weekly then why are there 93 foreclosure properties for auction in my zip c? Each week, about 12 properties in my zip code are added to the foreclosure list through RealtyTrac. I'm wondering why there are 93 properties listed as auction properties in Trulia which gets its information through RealtyTrac. Why don't they clear out each week? My guess is that no one wanted to buy them because the bank wanted the outstanding mortgage amount, which is more than they are worth. Realizing this, is the bank going to hold onto them forever or does it lower its asking price? What is going on with these properties?

For eBay seller- can seller change shipping on auction site after listing? seller listed "free shipping" on all her auctions, but when I got my invoice for the first one there was a $9 ship fee. Went back to auction & saw that (before I bid) she had added a note that free ship was a mistake. Her other auctions had the info listed after I bid- in bold letters unlike my auction. The "free ship" was still at the top of all the auctions, and the shipping calculator still returned a charge of "free" when I put in my zip code. Couldn't she have changed this? Is it possible that a town could have so few residents that a house number and street are not part of the ? address? Maybe that sounds crazy to you and it does to me too! But, I won an auction on ebay amd the lady's address is listed as her first and last name, then her town, state and zip code. OK, should I use UPS or USPS to ship my eBay auctioned item? I initially listed my item for "local pick up only", however I have received so many request to ship the item. I found a box for it and sized 23" x 26" x 23. I went to both UPS and USPS site to determine the shipping cost, however, I did not have an exact destination ZIP code since the auction is still active. I received a spoof mail today -Yahoo servers let it though and scanned the attachment which contains a virus ? The email claim to be from a well known Auction site -the attachment is a zip file. I down loaded the email with attachment from Yahoo website,and their Virus scanners let it through. Minor mistake on money order. Some help? Recently I made the mistake of jotting down my old Zip Code (98155) instead of my current one (98178) in the Address line. Since I was using a pen, I had to cross it off heavily and write 98178 below it. When buying on eBay how do I select a different shipping method other than the default? There's an item I'd like to buy on eBay and on the auction page when I click the Shipping tab and enter my zip code it gives me three shipping prices. The first is $15.59, the second is $6.91 and the third is $28.80. How do I select the second method for $6.91? When I click "Buy It Now" it defaults to the $15.59 shipping method and adds that into the total price, then asks me to commit to buy it for that price. I got the dress off of ebay, but because the auction was a single dress in a single size, i had to get it a size smaller than i was. I figured this was fine because it was the best dress on there, it was really cheap, really cute, new, and that since i was losing weight anyway, it would fit by prom time no problem. I've lost plenty of weight by then, but the top still won't fit, which is leading me to believe that my boobs are just a bit too big. I can get it zipped up the the boob part, but i need it to zip up all the way, u know? i don't think double boob will be a problem, since my boobs are kind of compressionable and i'm pretty sure i can squeeze them in with some effort. I was thinking of using ace bandages, at least just to get it on and zipped? Anyone have any other ideas? I haven't tried this yet since i don't have ace bandages with me, and i don't want to be SOL if i try it prom night and it doesn't work. Neutral feedback ebay question? I, along with my kids, gathered up some thing to sell on eBay to save up for extras on our vacation. We sold one of my daughters old jackets and the buyer received it a few days ago. They sent me a message saying the zipper pull was missing and the zipper was broken. I did indeed know that the zipper pull was missing, but I did not see this as an issue as they can easily be bought or made, and it just isnt a big deal. No where in the auction did I say it was brand new or flawless. I did not know the zipper itself was broken, as I tested it myself before i sent it out and it worked fine. My daughter had mentioned it popping open a few times but i thought it was just a result of the jacket getting too small for her and that she had a big of a tummy that made the jacket really tight on her. I could zip it fine with it off of her, and i assumed it would work fine on someone it actually fit. I honestly thought the jacket was FINE. Although as I hate dissapointing people, I offered to issue a full refund provided the buyer ship the item back to me. They come back and say i KNEW i was sending a faulty item and it just isnt worth their time to get a refund. When I thought the item was ABSOLUTELY FINE and i WOULD NOT HAVE SENT IT if I had thought otherwise. i even offered to issue them a refund and was very nice! And they go and say they will never bid on my auctions again, leave me neutral feedback, and try and tell me how to correctly display an ad on ebay. needless to say I AM SO TICKED OFF. Is there any way to deal with this? I have had 100% positive feedback for 3 years on ebay, and they go and ruin it. Please help.

Ebay - fake Zara coat? Please advise!? Hello I am reasonably new to ebay and have seen a coat I am interested in buying, but I am not sure whether it is a fake. The only reason I have to suspect is that although the photos show a close up of the Zara label inside, and Zara zip and buttons, the word 'Zara' is not mentioned in the ad. I've looked through a few guides, and other things I've noticed as a result is that he has one item of feedback which is 'private' (although the title is A++++ great ebayer) and the description is a bit thin, and it does say 'high Quality guaranteed' - is that worrying? He has 27 items sold and 27 items of positive feedback (100%). It's got one day 19hrs left and is already at a reasonable price, with 16 bidders. The other thing I noticed was that he says is 'choose from size S M L, email me your size after payment please.' How does that work?! It's only an auction for one item (you can't choose the size from a drop down list) so why have one auction - how would you know whether you could declare someone the winner if you don't know what size they want? I'm very ready to be persuaded it's a perfectly genuine item (I realise everything I've said makes it sounds like I'm already convinced it's fake! I hope this doesn't sway anyone!). Zara doesn't strike me as a brand much worth faking, but maybe that's a double bluff to convince people. How much is fair for this 04 Mazda 3? Hi I asked this in another catagory and didn't really get help...I really need to sell this car so I would appreciate any advice/tips. I have a 2004 Sedan Mazda 3 with 25,000. There are only minor scraps except on front bumper, there is a hole about 2 inches around. The car was only used for to and from work 40 miles round trip. The engine still looks brand new, and it is mechanically sound. The problem is that while at the car lot a tree fell on it, damaging the roof, hood, and front lights all where replaced and they sent the car to an auction for resale since car had to be rebuilt. So the title says hurricane damage but technically it was caused by wind... I bought from a friend whom I trust and looked into the records and inspected the vehicle, the "hurricane" was actually a tropical storm and there was no water damage or engine damage. He got it at the auction with 90 miles for 6,000 sticker price that was still on car was 16 something. Facts: NO a/c or power locks and windows. How do you find the USPS postage paid? I have an item I won on eBay with a "Us Postage Paid Pitney Bowes" print out for a label. The actual postage has been blocked out. There is a number at the top by the blocked out price and a tracking number and a "Electronic Rate Approved" number. I want to know what the shipper actually PAID. Is there any way to find out? Of course the USPS web site is NO HELP! Which is no surprise. You can find out the 'COST' of shipping from zip code to zip code, but I need to find out what the shipper actually paid. I had to pay the postman extra money when I received it, but I also paid for shipping when I won the auction. Other than writing the seller, is there anyway to track on line what was actually paid?

what should i do about my texas foreclosure situation? possible title issues/wrong address on house!? ok, when i purchased the house it was from a home builder who needed to move as many houses as they possible could in 30 day! i know this because at the time i was working for the home builder. so of course everything was going great UNTIL the day of closing. my loan was completely different at closing, my title paperwork came back with an incorrect address on it (wrong city and zip, but lot block and section are correct). but i didnt question it because the house sat on the border of three different cities and i honestly wasnt quite sure which one it should have been in but figured the title company should have known. on top of that the address on the house was not the legal address of the house which was not discovered until after closing when we had to switch over our utilities! we had to go and physically show our closing papers to get service hooked up!!! to make a long story short. in 2008 we were with countrywide and were in the process of getting a loan modification but while going thru the process boa purchased cw. before the sale of cw & boa we got a letter from cw stating we got the loan modification then three months later got a letter from boa saying it was declined. a year later i was still having to fax, refax and refax to boa to get the modification. two years went by and i was still faxing!!!! and kept getting told they never got my paperwork or that we didnt qualify b/c we made too much money (which was not true they had our ppwk mixed up with someone else). finally we "qualified" to do a short sale, boa sent an appraiser out to the house, everything seemed like it was going somewhere and then bam, it was over. the only answer that we can get from them is "we cant stop the auction of your house b/c its too close to your sale date" but before we were able to push back the "auction" date when it was a week away. at this point the only thing that i can think of is maybe they are having problems with our paperwork and all the wrong addresses, especially the fact that the address listed on the house is not the legal address. could this be a reason to deny modification/short sale?!

Two questions. I found a seceret compartment in an old steamer trunk I bought years ago.? This old steamer trunk has produced like a treasure chest for me. Got it at auction, fully locked, unopened and had all kinds of expensive goodies inside. The trunk was raggedy on the outside and it did have a mildew smell so I knew something inside was bad. Turned out to be sheets and linens with large initials embodied on each initials DK. B. and a crest. They were full of holes and had rotted except for the silk thread work. And worth zip. But, there was also something rolled on the outside in raw canvas and inside rolled with some sort of waxed paper. It was a large rug made of silk all made in large knots. There were also some silver and gold coins everyone dated the same 1910 and there were 12 of each and all were French. The coins and the rug were worth a large amount and did provide a wild payback for the cost of the trunk. But, not a clue where it came from or who owned it once other than it had been in New Orleans all those years quietly rotting away. The trunk seemed to have been owned by either someone else, rented or who knows. It does have L.V. stamped into the two brass handles and right under the front lock. all corners and side straps are made of brass and there were leather bands that have long since rotted away and canvas that has rotted and only strips remain under the straps and brass. I pulled on piece out last week and it too had L.V. on it. BUT, here is the wild part. The trunk was in our atick full of our junk and old items and getting it down a false bottom breaks open. We all searched for a lever or opener but there was none. Seems it had been nailed in place all this time. And inside the little compartment we found Two very very old Cameras. Each wrapped in the same wax type paper. One has a black leather case and strap like new. One has a green case and off all things it is green! A green camera! Both Cameras it seems are Plenax and use an odd type of film. And to our amazement they both are in great shape. No rust or breakage. But, another surprise is that we were very careful opening both cameras in case there was film still inside. Each one we discovered how to open being very careful and then placed inside a Film changing type bag. Actually a large thick black bag since it was large enough and totally dark. We found a full roll of exposed film inside the Green Camera! Its Kodak Film With black wheels and Red Paper with Yellow Printing stating its exposed? Its Verichrome Film Pan 620? Once I felt the film I placed some tape around it so it would not just curl open and ruin any possible pictures. Anyone know where we could get this possibly very important film looked at to see if it could still be developed? Somewhere here in the Dallas Fort Worth Area or some local expert? Further, anyone know of someone known as L.V. from france or someone named DK. B. Also from france or elsewhere? Have Two Questions Concerning a very old Steamer Trunk with Initials? I have this questions listed in cameras for that part of the help I need. This trunk had all types of hidden treasures inside it. I bought it at auction unopened and I found an expensive silk rug wrapped in a wax type paper, some coins from France, and sheets and linens with the Initials DK. B. embroidered very ornately with a crest. Those sheets etc had rotted but the silk threads were there and readable. But worth zip due to rot. The Steamer Trunk is very large, very large. It was owned by someone with the initials L.V. that he had stamped on the two brass handles and under the lock. So, either L.V. was related to DK. B. or DK. B had borrowed or rented the trunk. I found out that steamer trunks were rented or leased as well as sold back then and since no one picked this one up it may have been purchased from L.V. by DK. B. ? We just don't have a clue. Next, the coins were all French and all had the same date 1910 and were French, gold, silver, 12 of each. And the silk knotted rug. Getting the trunk down to remove all of our Junk stored inside we dropped the trunk and here a crack sound. When it was emptied and opened we found a Secret compartment that had been nailed to the bottom of the Steamer. We looked for a trick lever or opening but there were none so someone fetched me a pry bar and a special spanner to pry open very gently the compartment and remove some tiny nails and nuts. Inside were two very very old cameras. Both wrapped in the same wax paper, in like new condition. One was black in a leather black case and strap all in great shape. But, oddly, the other was in a dark green case and it was dark green. I managed to learn how to open the cameras and placed each inside a large dark bag and I found odd sized film in the green one. Anyone know of a trunk company initial L.V. or someone long ago with initial DK. B. with some sort of crest? The crest was also rotted and a mess and not clear enough to make anything more out. Anyone know of a special company to develop this film? Somewhere close in the Dallas Fort Worth Area? It could be junk or could be special since they were hidden? The sooner we get the film looked at by a true pro and not something like a photoshop, we can possibly find out who DK. B. was or is and who was or is L.V. who owned this trunk. And, it could be just junk for all we know. But, we expect it to be something really interesting due to the first items found hidden inside the trunk under the lining and so very old. If it helps the rug dated back 300-400 year agoago and the coins were 1910 each ooneand there were 12 of each both types of coins were the same values. Is this a work at home scam? This is the email I received from an email application I sent in response to a Craigslist (yes, Craigslist) posting for a data entry clerk. I think it's a scam especially since they provided no contact information (phone # or address of the "company." There's no real way to look up the company and I couldn't find them on the BBB website. My method of chosen shipping is UPS, because I know how the US Mail pokes along and they take forever to update their tracking information. However, I was contact by someone who says that they are "stationed in Germany with the US Army and the APO does not accept UPS shipments." They're asking if they bid on it and win the auction, if I will mail the item to them through the USPS via Priority Mail. They stated that "Parcel Post packages take 30-90 days to arrive, while Priority Mail takes three to five days." They gave me their zip code and told me that it is "somewhere in New York state." Can somebody in the military explain to me how this works? Yes, I can change the shipping and ship via USPS Priority Mail. No problem. What is the 'APO,' and why am I sending to New York state if it's Germany? Is APO some kind of branch of the Army who then forwards it to the location where this person is in Germany? So i've gone to many manufacturer website where you can "build your car" with the "payment estimator" You have to key in your zip code so my question is ...i did this at Kia's website for the Soul, when i was done and it asked to "find my car" it located a local kia dealership which had the souls marked up another 3-4k$.
