Franklin Mint Collectibles? Does anyone know where I can find the Louisiana Superdome collectible made by Franklin Mint? Not sure when it was made, possibly the 1990s. Also I'm not positve if it is a coin or other sort of collectible. Any information would be appreciated.
Franklin Mint Pocket Watches??? Anyone own one? Does anyone own one or more Franklin Mint collectable/commemorative pocket watches? Are they decent quality? Do they seem well made enough to actually use, or are they more of a display only item? Are they labeled water resistant? Thanks.
I have a collectible set of ingots from the Franklin Mint. Looking for the worth so I can sell for extra $? Franklin Mint: The Jane's Medallic Register of The World's Greatest Aircraft 24kt gold on bronze ingots I don't have any papers of authenticity, found it in the attic of my grandfather's house 15 years ago and he gave it to me. I'd like to know what it's worth and so I can sell it as money it tight right now. Thank you.
Value of Franklin Library (Franklin Mint) books circa 1986 or so...? I joined the Franklin Library book-a-month-type club back in the mid 80's. Every month I would get a new book. (These were supposedly the 100 Greatest Books or whatever...stuff like Pride and Prejudice, David Copperfield, etc.) They cost $12.50 plus tax and S&H at the time. I recently rediscovered a bunch of them in my basement, still in the boxes in mint condition. Since they were only $12.50, I'm sure they're not the really expensive true leather-bound versions, but they are in great shape and I would think collectible to someone. Does anyone know how I can find out what they are worth ? I started to just Freecycle them, but then it occurred to me I might be able to get something for them and figured I'd look into it.
Questions About World War II Fighters and Flight Characteristics .....? This question popped up in my head after my niece broke one of the blades from a collectible Franklin Mint F6F Hellcat : http://www.flyingmule.com/img/prd/FM-B11E191_01_lrg.jpg : It was accidental but I still winced a little (I bought more than 20 different models at less than $10 - 20 apiece. The store in Las Vegas was closing and he gave them to me incredibly cheap!) Here's the question ... Suppose the enemy fighter starts poking holes in your fighter (any fighter ... it doesn't matter for this question) and a bullet knocks off a blade. The Hellcat has a 3 bladed propeller. If one blade is broken/missing ... can the plane still fly? Does it require at least most of the blade (say about 3/4 of the blade) for it to continue flying? (On my collectible the full blade broke off) If it cannot ... does this put the plane in a spin ... will it break up due to tremendous vibration of a shattered propeller? Thanks and thumbs up to all who answer! Just give me time to get back and read the answers.
How can I determine the value of a collectible item? In the mid to late 1960's my parents bought 13 figurines (one for each original colony) from The Franklin Mint. They are pewter sculptures of figures throughout American History. The first was of a "Daniel Boone type character" complete with a long rifle and the last was of a "Neil Armstrong on the moon character". The detail was extraordinary. Before my father died he sent them to me. They were slightly damaged by heat during shipping. (Pewter is very soft metal, especially when warm). I want to determine if they are worth the expense of repair. I don't have the original shipping boxes, which is how they got damaged. But I do have the description cards that came with them.

How do I go about selling my collectible Scarlett O'Hara doll? She is a beautiful retired Franklin Mint edition in the collector’s wood case. She is 36” tall and comes in the original green velvet drapery outfit and is in pristine condition. I’ve had it since the late 80’s. It's quite nice, I just don't have any room for it and would really like to sell it. Thank you.
Site that sells a replica statue of a knight? I'm looking to buy a mini statue of either a knight or just the suit of armor. Something that makes a nice little decoration. I have been looking around for awhile but I haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. * I want it to be around 6 inches tall (many of the ones I found were like over a foot tall and that's too big). * If possible, it should be under $50 but I don't want it to be cheap-looking. * Nothing from Ebay please, I've already looked there! To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, I like this one but it's too big: http://www.swordsofhonor.com/ca-50-3526.html I also like this one from franklin mint but I haven't been able to find it anywhere except ebay and it's too expensive: http://cgi.ebay.com/FRANKLIN-MINT-ARMOR-THROUGH-THE-AGES-ENGLISH-KNIGHT_W0QQitemZ270354509929QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDecorative_Collectibles?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116 Thanks, but that's not quite it.

Joshua Doll ... Collectors Doll seen in a print Ad? Ok, A few weeks ago, my aunt said she remembered seeing a Collectable doll named Joshua. I searched the net and can't find it.I searched Collectible-Today.com (Which is both bradford exchanged & hamilton collection), danbury mint, franklin mint. I don't know were else to check. I tried to check eBay ... but i got to many hits and they were all different. She said the price of the doll was like 2-4 easy payments of like $25 - $30. Anyone know where i can find this doll.
How do you remove cigarette odors from collectible porcelain dolls and boxes that you acquired for resale? I was asked by an elderly lady in need of extra money, to sell her collection of porcelain dolls that she has acquired over many years. Some were discovered stolen, and sadly many of the dolls, though new in the box with tags (franklin mint, bradbury, etc...)reek of cigarette smoke. The boxes are also somewhat dusty and smell. I would like to clean them up so as to get as much money for them as possible, but I don't want to damage them as some are older and some such as the Jacqueline and John F. Kennedy dolls may be quite valueable. I would appreciate any advice on my mission! Thanks
