Ebay Antiques And Collectibles Vintage Knowledge Base
Need Items to Sell on Ebay? I am very good at selling almost anything for the highest amount. I have great feedback rating with ebay. My problem is when i make money I have to use it to survive instead of putting it back into my business. How do I get people to drop off their items for consignment. I can also pick items up. I am looking for any way to get items to sell on ebay with little money. I can sell antiques, collectibles, vintage toys, and new items such as electronics, name brand clothes and designer purses. I am so much talent doing this just dont have inventory. Craigslist is awesome i have sold and bought stuff but noone wants to consign. I was scared to use a dropshipper because i do not have the items in my possession and what if they where out of stock- Not willing to sacrifice my feedback i have worked very hard for it
I'm looking for a unique ebay name.? I sell antiques and collectibles and I am looking for a unique name for ebay. Maybe something with the name vintage or treasures in it. My name is Karen someone did suggest Karen's Kollectibles. I also like shabby chic items. Thanks.
Is it worth it to hire an auctioneer? I have a couple thousand $ of vintage japanese kimonos/obis, as well as several antiques and collectibles. I can't have a garage sale (I live in an apartment), and ebay is so flooded with kimonos...they sell for a fraction of what they are worth. Is it worth it to deal with an auction house? What have your experiences been? Thank you.
Why is it that boxes and wrapping? ...seem more important than the item inside when collecting "vintage" or antique items? Just look at any collectible on eBay and you'll notice a HUGE price difference between identical items if one is in its original box, and the other is not. Are the boxes more important and expensive than the articles within them? I don't get it!
What's the best way to sell on eBay with low feedback? I've been dealing in sports memorabilia and vintage collectibles for years and seeing as how the economy has gone to hell, I find myself with an office full of autographed baseballs, helmets, hats, antique books, Madame Alexander dolls, etc. to looking for a way to expand my clientele. I only have 15 feedback scores as of right now and I believe that's why people aren't bidding on alot of my items. Take into fact though that I have 100% rating, I ship the day after they pay and leave them feedback. What can I do to get people to trust me? Is there something I should put in my ad or just wait around for the feedback to build? Please someone help! I only have 15 as of right now. Honestly, if everyone I've ever bought from and sold to left me feedback, I'd have around 30-32.
