How do you attach the belts to a Kawasaki Fb460v Lawn Mower? I just finished restoring the engine of this lawn mower. But i do not remember how the belts were attached. I would appreciate a belt diagram or a description if any one can help. i think the mower itself is a gravely. gravely Pro-40 Model # 988003 000352

Where can I purchase a Bolens 2133 Riding Lawn Mower Belt? I was mowing on a semi-old riding mower and the belt that turns the blade broke. I'm not sure how old it really is but I know that the belt wasn't in the best shape. Anyway, It's a Bolens 2133 Riding Lawn Mower, One Step Molching Rider. How do I change the belt of my riding lawn mower? I have a Bolens riding lawn mower and the belt snapped. We have a replacement belt, but can't find my owners manual - I need to know where/how to tighten it? Anybody please? I have accessed the company's website to get a manual download, however they do for whatever reason do not recognize the serial and model number on the riding mower... RIDER LAWN MOWER PROBLEM! GOT NEW BELTS, AND ONLY DOSE ONE SPEED? i need some hep i have a engines and power class, and we brought in lawn mowers, this lawn mower i have its 7 speeds and its prety nice besides its been treated like shit. and i put new belts on it i thought that might fix the problem with it sliping a littla nd that might mess up the speed. well. i'm not sure what the problem is. i put it in first gos at one speed and put it in 7th gos in same fucking speed. wel.. would it be a gear box or something? if anyone knows problem please help. and what owuld it cost to fix.
removing lawn mower belt? I have an MTD riding mower. 38" 12.5hp Model #289707. I am trying to remove drive belt to no avail. Tried engaging, disengaging the blade, had someone holding the clutch in while I tried to loosen it, pulling on flywheel, but couldn't seem to move it. Help will arrive in about 4 hours, but I hate giving up on something once I start. I'm trying to remove the belt that actually runs the blade. A bolt came loose on the guard and chewed up the belt. Tried to run it like that, but it was worn down to where it is causing sparks when engaged.

Broken lawn mower belt on a riding mower? I have a John Deere Sabre riding lawn mower that I've had for a few years. (Purchased used) Yesterday while mowing the lawn I hit a small hidden stump and the mower jumped a little but the engine did not stop and still runs perfectly well. However, the blades no longer move and upon closer inspection, the belt had snapped when I hit the stump. First of all, since the belt snapped, and the motor runs fine, what do you think the overall damage might end up being? I would think that since the belt snapped it may have prevented severe damage. I have not yet tipped over the mower to see if the blades are bent are not. And second of all, if anyone has a link or simple instructions as to replacing the belt, it would be very much appreciated. I was told that I need belt number 754-0371A (i need the belt that makes the blade turn) I went to NAPA and gave them the numbers and they said that their belt number 6402BR matched up with the numbers i gave them. the difference that i see is that the original measures 74*5/8 and the new one is 74*3/4. my question is will it fit?

Cutter belt on a cox lawn mower is not spinning what could be the problem? I replaced the pullies as the cutter pully was broken. after doing this the belt for the cutter snapped after short use. Replaced the belt and now it does not spin when the cutter is engaged. any help would be appreciated.

what could cause the motion drive belt on your riding lawn mower to slip off when you release the brake? this really sucks bc the only thing i can think of is to replace the belt but that is alot of stuff to do to get to it! i really would like to know if there is anyway i could fix it with out all the trouble. when i cut the grass the belt slips off most of th etime and i have to get down there and put it back on but then when i release the brake it usually comes back off. what could cause this and is there any way i can fix it with out having to remove the mower housing, bc that is a b**ch to remove? thank you very much for your time!!

How do I fix this problem with my lawn mower? Okay so i just started mowing my lawn and i didn't get very far. All of a sudden my riding lawn mower just halted to a stop, but the engine still ran. I checked for all the things I know about like, nothing was caught in the blade, the belt was in good condition, there was enough gas in the tank. It's weird. I don't know really what's going on. All i know is that when i push the lever foward out of neutral, or pull it into reverse it won't budge. Nothing happens. And the brake is off so yeah. I don't know if something is wrong with the tires or something's up with the lever. But I would like to know how to fix this problem. And when i try pushing the riding lawn mower forwards it doesn't want to move. Plz help. I want to finish mowing my lawn!!!!

How do you remove the belt pulleys and the mower clutch on a John Deere lawn tractor? I have a John Deere GX 255 lawn tractor with the Kawasaki 20 hp twin cylinder. I need to replace the piston rings. I assume I need to remove the engine to do this, but I am having a heck of a time removing the belt pulleys and mower belt clutch from the engine shaft! I removed the bottom pulley with a puller, but I don’t know if the clutch assembly is removed in the same manner. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
