  1. Hi,Virgin is the airline we use They run discounts all year. They are no fuss airline no movies no food but are much cheaper, If you book on the "net" they are much cheaper again. Hope this helps Waltz.
  2. I've traveled a lot and i find most the time Qantas is cheaper.. and provide more services than Virgin Blue... Though this varies at different times of the year! the best way to get the cheapest flights are by going direct to the airline's website and viewing their costs from there.... Both airlines provide different pricing for children and adults... and you cannot really determine which one is cheaper, because they are not fixed rates, they change all the time! The airlines to look into are: Jet Star (supposed to be a very cheap airline) Qantas Virgin Blue
  3. Domestic airfares from $49 go to - http://www.studentflights.com.au I've found Virgin the cheapest whenever I travel or my teenager travels on his own. They have happy hour prices at lunch time. http://virginblue.com.au/bookings/happy_hr/ you can also sign up to there emailing list - you get their specials right in your inbox when it happens
