Question about booking a flight when you have a coupon/discount?

If you are attending a meeting and receive a Meeting Agreement (WorldFile Number), you get a big discount on airfare with Northwest Airlines. My question is, can the person you're travelling with also receive a discount if they are not atending that meeting?

1. when you get a discount you usually get a code number to enter and unless you get 2 codes then no the other passenger cant get a discount unless he or she has a code...wont no till u try it
2. I work for Northwest and it depends. If youre getting a discount off of airfare it generaly deducts from the price of the ticket (1,2, or 10 people booked). A better way to say it is that it deducts the percentage from the total ticket cost. Now, if it's a voucher than no, those are only good for one person. If 2 are travelling than they will be booked in seperate reservations and only one of those res will have the discount on it.
