- most of the larger companies won't give you a discount they'll just let you broad first and sit you down somewhere you feel most comfortable
- I was in a wheelchair for several yrs only started walking a few months ago due to a change in my prescriptions, the only thing they ever offered was first boarding, and I didn't like it as I felt like everyones eyes were on me with pity which I hate, however they were always great as were the other passengers, but as for financial no, not to my knowledge, infact my husband has a terminal cancer we couldn't get any help for expenses what so ever, good luck I really hope things go well for you! Hugs!
- 40 years of flying & I've never heard of special disabled fares but ask anyway, you only know if you ask. Cheapest fares, try cheaptickets.com or orbitz.com or expedia.com
- Funny private comp don't give a darm about your disability in fact thank god for the law they will probably band you because of it what you need to do is make sure that they know of your needs when you are buying your ticket even if you buy it on line you can still call the airline later with the reservation # and tell them if you will need anything special for cheapest ticket you can check cheapticket.com expedia.com, priceline, or check all the airline and choose the cheapets Good luck
- Disabled people are just like everyone else and should pay the same price. Similarly to paying full price for a car and getting access to parking spots for the disabled, you will pay full price and receive access to seats in the bulkhead row. Your disability is not a discount coupon.
- Orbitz & Priceline can help find cheap airfares. As far as discounts, you will not find any because of your disability. I was in a wheelchair for a period of time because illness & the only advantage provided was pre-boarding.
