What airlines offer airfare discounts to children?

1. Airlines used to offer more child fares than they do nowadays. I periodically see them, but very rarely. Airlines figure that child or senior citizen for that matter still take up a seat and with many of the airlines struggling to get out of bankruptcy they just can't afford to offer child/senior rates any longer. Of course 2 years and under fly for free if they are a lap child, if you want a seat for them you pay full price.
2. mostly none because they take up a seat on the airplane dont they? so that is less money they would make with a normal sized person so they would lose money by doing so these days
