How do i fine discount airline tickets during holidays from Detroit to L.A.?

6. Best thing to do is book as far in advanced as possible for the best deals. Holidays or not,.
7. i like to use Kayak.com.. its a great tool when searching for airfare.. but i believe the key is to be patient and persistent when searching.. when you search for airfare on kayak.com, click on the "chart" tab.. it will show you when the best days to travel are around your travel date.. you will be able to see which day is the cheapest day to fly on for your particular flight.. you can also see a chart of how airfare prices bounce around from day to day.. thats my favorite tool cuz you can see what you would have paid if you bought the tickets yesterday or last week.. sometimes it can mean the difference of 100 bucks or more.. but basically, its a tool to find out if you're paying to much for your ticket... you cant hold out for that super low fare cuz it may end up waiting forever..
8. How do you fine tickets? If you get a ticket you pay the fine, usually at the courthouse. Some cities allow you to send it by mail.
9. Lot of those sites are great, but always check the airline's site to make sure you got the best deal. Also, don't be afraid to drive a little to get a better deal. Although, if you are in the Detroit area, you'd have to go a ways to find a better fare.
10. Call the airline directly, appx 21 days out from your flight.
