check ebay, expida, hotline and orbitz and jsut go to google!
Umm..I like Southwest Airline's feature, Ding! - it literally dings when there are cheap flights available and deals. It doesn't fly to every airport and I'm really not sure about Kauai, but it could get you closer and you could take a cheaper flight from there. You just have to make sure that you look at the dates that they're offerring. If that's not helpful, STA (student travel) is available to anyone under 30...they have cheap deals. Expedia, Priceline, and Travelocity is extremely useful.

Dont purchase ticket directly from ticket counter. Call the airline's 1-800 # or buy online through discount sites (ex: expedia, hotwire, travelocity) Purchase your tickect in 7 day intervals to departure date. For example if your flight leaves july 28th purchase your tickect on days such as July 21, jul 14, jul 7 , jul 1. Airlines by law must post their lowest possible ticket prices at least once a week (in 7 day intervals to the departure date) The earlier you book your ticket the cheaper you will be paying for your flight. If your flying out in July, I would strongly recommend purchasing your ticket very soon to ensure the lowest possible price. Good luck
