  1. cheaptickets.com is usually good you might wanna just try US Airways itself though
  2. use sites that arent on the travel sites. i mainly use southwest airlines to travel from florida to ohio and back. they are very inexpensive if bought enough ahead of time and its pretty easy. i will say that they dont give you a seat number, you are put in order and file onto the plane and choose one, so its a tad more chaotic but its been very useful for me. also maybe jetblue is a posibility - i think its mostly deals with nyc, but its worth looking into. just in general i would say airlines that arent on sites like orbitz and stuff will be cheaper because they dont pay those fees so tickets are cheaper. you can go to your airport's website and look up what airlines run there and go from there.
  3. Check kayak.com They scour most of the airline sites and come up with the cheapest and where to buy it. Also, if you can, be flexible. Cheapest seats are usually on Tues, Wed and Thurs. A
  4. See http://www.travelbargainsites.com for some great, cheap travel sites. Get the lowest going rate, and then haggle that rate down on Priceline or Hotwire.
