  1. Antiquity is a term meaning "A long time ago." and is not applicable here. An antique is something 50 years or more old; Vintage is 25 to 50; curios are just old nick knacks (figurines and the like) and collectibles is a modern term invented by manufactures of (mostly) junk in an effort to entice people in to buying and collecting it. Remember Beanie Babies? How some of them were going for thousands of dollars? Now you can pick them up at any yard sale for a nickel. So much fo collectables.
  2. Antiquity refers to ancient civilizations, Rome, Greece, etc. Antique is generally considered something more than a century old, but that can vary depending on the object. Vintage is usually something which belongs to a past style, like 50s clothing, but not old enough to be antique. And Collectibles can be anything, but are usually pop culture icons or things of every day use.
  3. Antique = Big bucks. Collectables = Old junk. Vintage is just an advertising word. Antiquity is so old that the insurance would be too expensive for the average collector. If the store sign reads Antiques you're going to pay through the nose but you get a better selection than collectables which will probably have to be restored (Then they become antiques). Get it?
