I went to Amazon today and I wanted to buy something but it said collectible. What does collectible mean?
Public Comments
- Collectable means it is not readily available and has some demand in the market place, therefore there is some additional cost to acquire the item. Antiques, old baseball cards, authentic clothing no longer made, etc.....
- Although some of the items sold as Collectable may be collector's items (e.g. a book signed by the author), often people list a used item as collectable so that it sounds more valuable. This way they don't have to list it as Used and compete with other sellers of used items. So be careful if you buy a Collectable - it may be no different to Used.
