10. Depending on your cash situation .. there are lots of things you could collect .... Big thing at the minute are the limited editions designer coke bottles by fashion designers .... Toys from the past in boxes are a good investment especially orginal star wars I am collecting terry pratchett figures for my son and for my daughter i was collecting limited detitions barbies .. until the little madam managed to get them of the shelves and trashed the boxes .. I am also collecting versace rosenthal pieces
11. HI. You should buy and collect what you like. There is a niche market for almost everything out there. If you are strictly looking for investments and you have the money -do a little research; art is almost always a good investment. Pez is a fun collectible and if you go for the rarer ones they will increase in value somewhat. (i.e. pick the one you see the fewest of). Currently the Pez market is at a lull; so now is a good time to pick up some older rare ones too. Toys or merchandising items (Harry Potter) are mass produced and the marked is flooded with them. If you want to collect these items, check the clearance racks after the hoopla dies down and pick the toys that are reduced and there are a lot of on the shelf. It's usually the ones noone wants now that are the most collectible in the future. If you have space ... art pottery and murano glass, beautiful and also a good investment. Old electronics / video games as someone else mentioned are a good investment. Comic Books and cards are at a lull right now too, so if that is what you would like to collect now would probably be the time. There is almost always someone willing to buy bar items; neon signs, bar mirrors, giveaway glasses and premiums (i.e.gift set glasses...). Check ebay to see which alcohol brands garner the most sales. My personal feeling is that smoking items will eventually be like contraband!!! I'm hording lighters!!
