I am trying out eBay and I have a lot of antiques...where can I go to figure out what I have?
Some of the stuff I have is extremely old and the markings are hard to read. I am just looking for somewhere on the Internet that I can research my items and figure out good starting prices and what they could actually sell for. Any help would be appreciated.

- My mother went through the same thing selling some of her old antiques, the best references she found was at the library. Don't go off of similar items on EBay, you would probably end up losing out and you will be competing with some professional antique dealers and retail stores. I hope this helps you out.
- The library or a book store is your best starting point- look for books like Antique Price Guides or Collectibles and there is this couple called the Kovel's who have written many books on the subject also! Otherwise just type antiques into a search box and see what comes up I am sure you could find something along there that may help you!
