Best way to sell antiques - should I open an ebay account?

I never built a web page and I am going to be responsible for selling antique items on the internet for my family. Can anyone give me any tips or how I should go about doing this in a safe manner for all parties? Thank you all for you time :)

2. think about shipping cost re: ebay. Are you a collector or just have a bunch of stuff granny gave you? You may want to find a broker/ have that person pay you a lump some for all off it.
