I've always wanted to be a Real Estate Agent, but ended up getting married and having kids. The Kids are now old enough for me to do something with my life. I can't afford college, but I found an ad: Coldwell-Banker is offering Real-Estate Agent classes for $295. I know other realties like Century 21, ReMax, etc. used to offer these classes too, but I'm not sure if they still do. Does anyone here know which would be the best realty to take these classes with? Is there a catch to learning this way? Do you need to know anything else, education-wise before taking these classes? I've been out of college (never graduated) for 15 years, and only went for a year and a half. Most of my classes consisted of the basics (speech, math, etc) and psychology. Would this be a difficult profession to learn for someone who's been out of school for so long? I'd really appreciate any advice from someone who's taken this route already. Thanks : ) EDIT: I live in Illinois...I'll check out that site.
