Is Century 21 real estate any good, in terms of finding an apartment in Astoria, NY?

I'm looking for an apartment in Astoria NY, which seems to be the hotspot, because I can't find anything. I have until July 15th, I've seen some postings but most of them are through brokers. I've also seem some really good listings on Century21's website, and I'm wondering if I should give it a shot. Does anyone know any good sites that may have listings for astoria with no brokers. Time is going and my progress is so slow. Help!!

1. You can also try craigslist for Queens, but New York is a tough market to navigate without a broker. We own a co op in Queens and I know that brokers handle the vast majority of the rentals. I say give them a shot.
