  1. You must state that you are a licensed real estate agent in any transaction you do. All agents must work for a broker unless you have taken a brokers exam and have a license. You can have your sign read as follows so you won't have any moral or ethics questions arise. BBW Properties Your Name Your Phone Number and then somewhere on the sign in small letters w/logo state Century 21.
  2. I am not sure that I understand your question. A real estate salesperson cannot legally sell a property without a broker. Does that answer your question? Here is an answer to a prior question regarding the relationship between an agent and a broker: A Realtor is a member of the National Association of Realtors. The term is copyrighted by them. A real estate agent is an individual who is licensed by his or her given state to sell real estate. Generally this requires taking a course of about two weeks in duration and passing a relatively easy test. A real estate agent works under a broker who is ultimately responsible for the actions of the agent. A real estate broker is also licensed to sell real estate but can do so on his or her own and can employ other individuals to work for him or her. Becoming a broker usually requires at least one year experience as a salesperson as well as additional education and testing. A broker-associate is a broker who works for another broker as a salesperson. Agencies with multiple offices are often required to have a broker-associate for each office.
  3. The only way for you to do that is for you to become a broker. Regards
  4. The broker is the final stop. All responsibility rests with the agency. A real estate associate also has liability and responsibility, but may not transact without a broker.
