As a new real estate agent i need some help? Serioulsy!?

I just got my license as a real estate agent in New york from Prudential rand, how can i contact people willing to send there house? Plese let me know the best idea, should i start telemarketing for the smae? is there anyone you know want to sell there house in NY. pLease help.

1. Your agency should have a training program, and certainly if you took your required classes, you heard about "farming" a territory. Or where you asleep that day?
2. I just passed the N.Y. Salesperson Licensee exam myself last week in Albany. One thing that we were told is because of the national no call list, most people do not want there homes called by telemarketers, however door to door is still an option. Speak with your Sponsoring broker to see what the best avenue is. Maybe he/she would be willing to give you office time. Time to be on the phones and one of the first to collect leads coming into the office. Talk to your family and friends to see if any one they know or if they themselves are looking for a real estate salesperson. I haven't started to look for a person to sell too because I THINK I need to wait until my liscence is delivered by the state to my broker. Congradulations!!!! I suggest getting out there going to fundraisers, volunteering, get your name out there. Scream over the mountaintop let people know that you are there for them, Just remember to disclose to all appropriate parties if you are involved in a dual agency situation if you choose to represent a close family or Friend
