Is this a sign that I should not work for this company?
I interviewed with a very well known real estate company for a sales agent position. When it came time for me to ask questions, I received no answers. Everytime I asked a question from my list, the broker said "you don't have to worry about that. Just worry about training." I got no answers. I had to ask a few times for the commission split, because he said that I should not worry about that either. THis is a popular company and it is right next to my home. Even the start up costs are so low I am just concerned that I received no answers to my questions. Would you pass on this company. If it helps with your response, it Prudential Fox and Roach.

- PASS he is hiding important information from you and that is not a good sign
- I know nothing about this business, but I think that's a bad sign. Why is he being so cagey?
- If I were in Your Shoes, I would like for a different career path as Real Estate Sales at the moment are too slow! Thus, assuming they or a different real estate broker sent you to training so you could get your license, well if you're only paid on a split commission basis then hopefully you have savings bec your first sale or listing might be many months down the road. Maybe you could pursue Real Estate Sales on a Part-Time Basis but selling homes for a living/career at the moment based on fact that sales are slow and home values are falling, well in my opinion now would NOT be the right time bec there are few buyers and more sellers and real estate agents have to work extra hard for their commission. Hope the Above Info Helps!
