What does "eat-in-kitchen" mean in real estate listings?
Is that a nice way of saying 'tiny kitchen'?

- well it sjsut that you dont have a seperate dining room.. like your kitchen table isnt in another room.
- no just that you eat in the kitchen instead of having to go to the dining room to eat
- a kitchen big enough to to put a table and chairs or a breakfast bar...
- It means there is either a bar or breakfast nook or dining area within the kitchen (as opposed to a separate formal dining room). Some houses have both, which would actually be a plus for larger gatherings. Seeing that phrase in a real estate listing wouldn't in itself be enough for me to cross it off my list; it's a feature that many home buyers are in fact looking for.
- An eat-in kitchen is simply a term used to describe the setup of the kitchen area. There is ample room to have a table in your kitchen for eating which could mean that you may have a "formal" dinning room elsewhere in the floor plan of the home. Most people do prefer to eat in their kitchens, its easier for people with kids or people who are always eating on the go.
