what percent do real estate agents get in Ohio from the sale of a house?

I was looking into becoming a real estate agent in ohio and was wondering if anyone knew what percent they get out of a sale of a house?

(That can be variable, where one agent gets less, but that is not typical) From that amount, the commission is split between the agent and the brokerage. Each office and each agent has a percentage split. Splits can range from 45/55 to 95/5, depending on the arrangement in the office. Sorry to give such a long answer to such a seemingly simple question, but that is the way it works.
