How would one go about buying forclosed real estate on Yahoo Real Estate?

Would I need to register with Realty Trac? Can I purchase properties on my own, or do I need a real estate agent?

1. Why would you want to do it on your own? You dont have to pay a Realtor if you are a buyer! The Realtor will be liable to protect your interest and you will always have someone to blame if things go sideways. Lastly most banks dont want to deal with buyers directly, there is too much liability in it for them. Sorry, i dont think i really answered your question. Hopefully i helped
