Who could I sell my vintage cameras and vintage electro-cardiograph machine to?

I have inherited some vintage cameras and I have no idea who would have use for them (I certainly don't). One of them I'm keeping, but the others I'd like to sell. Yeah, I know ebay and other online bidding/selling sites, but I was wondering what organizations or shops might have use for something like this. I also have a very old Electro Cardiograph machine I believe it's from the 1930's...very old! Any suggestions on potential buyers? Thanks!

  1. put them for auction on eBay its pretty easy and you can put a starting bid so your pretty sure not to give them away!
  2. try ebay
  3. go to a local camera shop, and get some idea of what the gear is worth, and check with a local camera club.. perhaps some of their members would like to buy the gear...some older gear can be worth quite a bit. maybe even a local auction house, (not online) would be of assistance. check at the local hospital or with your Dr. regarding the Electrocardiograph machine, perahps the hospital or a Dr. would like it for display...
  4. Why not try the The American Museum of Photography and a similar Medical Museum. They will undoubtedly be interested in them. http://www.photographymuseum.com/ http://www.mopa.org/ http://www.thackraymuseum.org/
