I want to purchase tickets for airtravel. Are there any sites I can bid on a ticket. I cannot find the link.

Or what cheap airline ticket sites can I find? I need to fly between Austin TX and Newburgh NY

3. Skyauction and Priceline are the two main ones, but their bidding services only work if departing from the USA. Someone else already gave you Priceline; the other is http://www.skyauction.com Good idea you have to check the cheapest otherwise available. Many people bid too high, and accept a higher fare than what they could have gotten if they just shopped around first. http://www.bookingbuddy.com is good for most routes. Add which cities you need to fly between, and I'll try to check back and add more info. Some airports that are served by the new low-cost airlines, don't show up in other booking sites--that's the main reason I asked for which cities, so I'll know if I should recommend one of those airlines.
