Why does President Bush oppose New Orleans rebuilding, Bridge repairs, and competitive bidding on medicare?
and lastly ...why does he insist on not protecting our borders and not enforcing our laws that are on the books to fight illegal immigration?

- Because he is one of our worst presidents ever. Actually its probably because God hasn't come down and told him to do these things yet.
- I forgot it was as simple as saying, "I want every bridge in America to be 100% safe", and "I want New Orleans to be the new Mecca". If it were that easy, don't you think it would have been done? And who cares what Bush thinks, it's not his job to inspect bridges and rebuild New Orleans. Use your head.
- Yeah, keep them questions coming, Kanye.
- the decision in each case comes down to two answers. he either wants to hurt any american who is likely to be a democrat. or, he wants to protect any policy slant or decision that favors giving large contracts to republican friendly corporations. that's what our president has reduced our govt to...
- that's a very good question. Kind of weird isn't it? Almost like he has something against the american people or something. But he sure is a free spender when it comes to war, and pork for the military industrial complex.
- Because Bush doesn't care about anyone else, but himself, special interest groups, big business, big oil, and his religious right wingnut base. New Orleans? Who cares! Bridge repairs? Who needs them! Medicare? Just pray you don't get sick! That's Bush's credo on these matters.
- He doesn't oppose any of those. Why he and the Democrats don't want to protect our borders, I don't know. The Democrats know they will get more votes, but Bush gains nothing.
- Because those items are what those horrible Democrats want some funding for. You know, those spend wild Democrats - the ones actually trying to help the people in THIS country. By leaving the boarders unprotected the agrigulture industry gets cheap help.
- Bush opposes rebuilding New Orleans, because rich people who are his base do not live there. He opposes bridge repairs because he would rather privatize all of this, rather than use our tax dollars on things that benefit ALL of us. Bush is against competitive bidding on prescription drugs, because his large donors with the pharmaceutical companies would profit less if there was competition. By not enforcing immigration laws, he aids large corporations, who rely on these undocumented workers, working for less than minimum wage. These large corporations are the same corporations that put him in office. The plain and simple of it all, is that as Bush said at a fundraiser once, he only cares about his base, "The haves and the have mores."
- I've always been an outspoken opponent of the Decider, but I am also against New Orleans rebuilding it would be asinine to rebuild the parts of the city that are below sea level when sea level seems to be rising every year I think it would be a waste of money and I don't want to see them go through the same tragedy again (as they surely would) as for the rest of your list, as much as I dislike Bush, you are full of nonsense and are not helping anyone with your silly criticism
- The answer is North American Union
- The Bush administration has allocated Bilions for New Orleans - much of it for direct disaster assistance and for repairs + improvements to the levee system. Our problem is not the Bush administration. Our problems are the governor and the mayor. Both are Democrats.
