Can you stop other people from bidding on ebay items to get it for really cheap?
I want to know if i can bid like $30 on a playstation 3, and somehow stop other people from being able to bid so i win for really cheap. Is there any way to get stuff for really cheap on ebay?

- Negative, other than hoping no one else bids, there is not.
- Not possible the only way to make sure that you get the item is to click teh buy now price
- No, you can't stop others from bidding. That kinda defeats the purpose of eBay. Your best bet is to not set a bid until the bidding is almost over and then put a bid in with something like 10 seconds to spare (closer if you have a fast connection) and up the bid by like $10. That way you're likely to get it at it's cheapest price. Of course, if someone starts bidding early it'll just keep climbing so move on to another item.
- You can't stop other peoples bids. The way to get stuff cheap on ebay is to be patient set yourself a limit and keep an eye out for the bargains.
- You can't stop people from bidding, but there are websites out there like auctionsniper. These are websites where you can put in your highest bid and set the time you wish it to make the bid for you. This means you can have it make a bid for you a second or so before the auction ends and hopefully pick up a bargain.
- Hello, Nope, you can't do that. However, you can wait until close to the end of the auction and start bidding then. You can also sort by newly listed and see if anyone has a reasonable buy it now. OR you can watch the endings of listings at odd times (1am for example) that will reduce the number of buyers out there. Lastly, you can search for items that may have been misspelled by their seller. Example: you are looking for a coach purse - search by coache, coche, koach.... Good luck!
