Is it possible for your account to get blocked from bidding on ebay?

OK, I was bidding on a lot of books. I saw them first, and I got outbid in the last 12 hours so I kept upping my bid. Well, I decided to wait and do a sniper bid at the end but when I tried to do it, ebay said I was logged out and every time I put in my account info, it would load me back to the same screen. I know my info was correct, it's the same account I've had for years and not to mention that it has NEVER logged me out like that. Was my attempt to win this item thwarted by foulplay? the winning bidder also has 19 negatives in the past month.

1. 1st of all, the other guy can't do anything unless he/she knows your information. IE: your User name, password, but if he/she doesn't know that there's no way he/she could've stopped you from bidding on that item. If I were you I'd talk to eBay, because it sounds to me like a website malfunction.
2. contact ebay and ask them, maybe theres a malfuntion somewhere or maybe you broke on of the ebay rules, you never know, but i would contact them. good luck
