does your buy it now disappear when people start bidding on ebay?

i'm trying to get some tickets on ebay the person has a buy it now and a starting bid. There's still a day left in the auction what i want to know is if people start bidding on it will the buy it now come off or will it stay there so you could still buy it instantly. thanks

1. Nope. if i were you, start with a bid first and if the bidding price is a few dollars away from the but it now price, then go with buy it now before the other bidders do.
2. yep, the buy it now option disappears when someone places a bid so decide quickly what do u want to do?

6. Yes typically it does, but it can also depend on if you have a reserve price on it. If you do then tyhe buy it now won't dissapear. But if you are just doing a typical auction then yes it does.
7. Yes, once there is a bid placed the buy it now will be removed. It's kind of shady b/c you pay extra for a buy it now.
8. yes, the buy-it-now button will disappear if someone hits a regular bid button. If you want it to sell at a set minimum price, you have to set a reserve price.
