How does bidding on ebay work, when 2 bidders are bidding automatically? who wins in that case?

How about say 5 bidders are bidding automatically?

2. If more than one person is bidding the same amount of money on one item,the one who bid first wins.
3. Person would bids the most or 1st person to bid that amount ex. i bid 5.00 at 8.01 you bid 5.00 at 8.02 I win
