- I know ebay now hides the true user name for bidders except for people who sell. they look like this s****e, but never heard of BIDDER1 BIDDER2. Maybe its so other bidders can keep track. update: http://blogs.ebay.com/skipndawn/entry/Bidder1-Bidder2-Bidder3-etc/_W0QQidZ90637016
- sometimes its the seller themselves they jjust want u too pay more i would leave it bcoz ul end up paying too much
- They are real. It's just that they could have entered a really high amount they are willing to bid maximum, and each time you bid it bids higher on their behalf, because they agreed they would pay that much. That's why it doesn't show on the history.
- Ebays bidders ids are now hidden for added security and bidder1 is the first person to place a bid on the item, bidder2 is the second and so on and so on.
- I asked the same question - the response I got from Ebay was this. The bidding system has changed to protect buyer identities and bidders can hide their history to prevent contact from other users. The bidders can also bid a certain price up to a pre-determined level - as you bid, their bid is automatically increased so you are out bid. Personally, I think it is a scam in favour of Ebay - an auction is an auction - you take your choice when to bid. It shouldn't be automatic
- you will never know as ebay hides all bidders names only seller can see them
- They're the ones who keep counter bidding you.
- Its private bidders
