is this shill bidding?

I've recently started bidding on 18 items that are in a collection that are on ebay, everything was fine, maybe 2 or 3 people trying to outbid me on a couple items, but other than that, most of the items were at 0.99 with me being the only bidder. and then I checked out the listings today to see how everything was doing and then BAM, I was outbid out of all 18 items! most of the 0.99 cent items went up to 10.00 and some even went up to 20.00. what was weird was that all the items i was outbid on were bid on by the one and only same bidder for everything. I looked at their bidding history, and they haven't bid on anything else except for the items i've been bidding on. I looked at the sellers feedback page, and they don't have any bad feedback, but they've only sold two things recently and before that they haven't sold anything since september of last year. I'm not trying to be paranoid but what should I do, is there any other sure way to find out? should I report to ebay anyway? help!?

  1. Check the buying history on the bidder. I know where you are coming from. I had a similar experience and found that the bidder had 450 buys from this bidder. When I checked he had only bid on two items other than this seller. It sound kind of fishy to me. I do bid on certain sellers because the usually sell for a good value. But this persons buying history should tell you a lot. If it appears to be a Shill turn the sucker in. I know this stuff goes on more than you know. He might be a friend or family member in the same house. Good luck I think some of the coin sellers are the real abusers.
