Belt Auction

Need opinions on how to handle this Ebay problem?

I sell on Ebay. Most of my auctions are store items or fixed price items. I once in awhile I offer items in the auction format. I do have a bidder that will bid on things (on my reserve price auctions), but will never buy anything. He does this on other people's auctions also. And I have had some of the other bidders get mad about it and accuse him of shill bidding and ask that I block him from my other auctions. I do not know this person and if they want to bid, fine by me. But I also feel that I could be driving away other bidders because of him. Any suggestions on how to handle this?

  1. Yes, report him to EBAY and block his bids.
  2. Block him and report him to ebay. What is his rating? My wife sells on ebay, she does about $2,000 a month, and the first inkling she ever has with any bidders, she blocks them. There are millions of bidders out there. BLOCK THE BAD SEEDS
  3. block him and hears why when I bid on stuff I want to know that the person who just drove the price up to $400 from $200 was not just making life harder on me. Becuase he really wasn't trying to win it just trying to drive up the price if I went to a person trying to sell some thing and the same person was always driving up the price and never buying I would be driven away.
  4. Hi! I would block him if you can. I'm not exactly sure why he does it maybe his mom droped him when he was a child or something. For some people it's just like a gambling problem perhaps that's the reason he does it. I bet some of the other bidder think that actually you are know this guy or posing like him to raise the price up. With so much fraud going on Ebay it's hard not believe. I don't think Ebay will do anything about it. Cheers, DS
