Whenever I bid for something on ebay, some sort of automatic bidding thing bids higher...?
I am trying to bid for something on ebay and this automatic bidding thing or proxy bidding keeps bidding over me automaticly. How can I do proxy bidding also and how can i avoid from other people doing proxy bidding on me? BEST ANSWER GETS 10 POINTS!

- All you have to do is bid above the limit of their proxy. You will get a proxy automatically. For example, suppose the highest bid so far is $40. If you bid $80, your $80 bid will not show. You will actually get a proxy that will automatically raise your bid as needed until you either win the item or would need to bid above $80 to keep the high bid. To prevent anyone from proxy bidding against you, make sure to place your bid for the highest amount you are willing to pay. That will ensure that you can only be outbid by someone who is willing to pay more than the most you are willing to pay.
- this might work for u www(dot)duuc(dot)net
- when your asked to bid it askes you your highest bid, then it goes up like a quarter over the current bid untill you win, but if someone else bid a hight top price for that same option it will automatically bid a little higher that your top price, im no ebay pro but I dont think anythings wrong I think your just not bidding high enough
