WHY ??? in the world are these cars selling like this?

- its the minimum price the ebay seller has set for the car , you didn't really think they would have sold the car for a dollar or whatever the price stops at did you?
- because they arent going to sell it for under the buy now price.
- They always start the bids low....I am sure that they have a reserve price on them, so if you think you are going to get a car for $1.00, yer crazy.

- With E-bay you pay a starting bid price, so if the starting bid is $1.00 it costs 10 cents, if you start the thing at $25,000 it will cost you $200 or more. The buy it now price is essentially a reserve price (both cost money to add to the auction). So, what happens is that you fail to sell the car @ $30,000 and then the re-list is free. Just repeat the auction again and again. Essentially it's like buying from a store online not an auction site. The difference is that E-bay has so many more visitors than any online store, so this is why people list like this.
