How do you check in Alcohol in your luggage?
like im 21, but im just curious. When you pack a bottle of wine into your checkin suitcase, do they ask you if you have alcohol in it? cuz most of the time i remember they just weight it then put it on the conveyer belt and its gone. Im sure they screen it but how would they know if you are 21 or not, cuz they screen it after you have left to your gate already. Im sorry if this question is confusing.

- Just pack it well -- in styrofoam if possible. Some airlines (Southwest) have special packing for you. Since you are 21, there is no concern. If they ask, just say yes. It will show up on XRay anyway. I travel with bottles of wine in my checked bags all the time.
- If you are not leaving one country for another, you will be fine unless it breaks! Then you have a smelly mess. If you traveling to a different country you need to check their import laws, and odds are they will find it during your customs inspection!
- They usually will only ask you if your suitcase is locked or has firearms in it. I had cigarettes in my carry-on when I was only 16 and I never got in trouble. Since you're 21, and you're not taking it in a carry-on you won't get in trouble, I'm sure. Don't worry. Just pack it carefully so the bottle doesn't break!
- age does not matter. If you are leaving the country then you will need to fill out a customs form. Otherwize just pack it well and cover with plastic bags because I know of a lot of people who had their entire contents of their suitcase ruined because of this
- If you are traveling internationally you will have to declare it. Otherwise you can just pack it. They would know whether or not you are 21 because you have to show photo ID to get on the plane, and it would have your date of birth.
