5. I personally don't like it whenever I see a guy with multiple designer pieces on that flash the logo; I like more of a laid back look. Actually if anyone wears that much designer stuff I generally think that they are stuck up.

8. WAY too fussy. Simple is better. In that outfit you would come of ss extremely materialistic and egotistical. Wear what you like for you, don't dress for anyone else. If you DO like those designer pieces, don't wear them together. Choose one to wear at a time and pair it with clothing that doesn't scream "label whore."
9. Yes, that looks almost exactly like something that I would wear. The glasses are great and the hoodie is nice too, but I think that the color kind of clashes with the T-Shirt. Something in black or red (with A/X is thankfully fully of) would go better. If you were to get the hoodie in grey, then it would be fine. The jeans are great (Diesel makes very good ones for men too). The belt seems to be more of a brand placement than anything else; the Gucci pattern doesn't match the rest of your outfit. A/X sells black leather belts with huge logos if that's your thing. Emporio Armani sells similar belts with the Eagle logo on them (my friend bought a knockoff one while I bought real Armani sunglasses...guess who spent more?). Also, I don't think the shoes match at all. The loafers are nice, but the white ones look a bit tacky (despite their price) and out of place with the casual aura of the outfit. I would pick up some nice Lacoste sneakers; they were a great purchase on my part. Nordstrom has them.
