how do I get rid of any smell on leather belts?

i work in construction and because of the sweat, my leather belt got this funky smell...any sugestions?

1. The smell from leather is usually caused when it gets wet. After it drys out (or now if it's not wet), put some waterproofing oil on it and rub it in. You might have to do it twice, but it should help the smell.

3. I had the same problem with leather watch bands and quit wearing them years ago. Efforts at correction or prevention (saddle soap, cleaning products, sealing products) will probably produce inconsistent results and be more hassle than is reasonable. Consider purchasing belts made of fabric webbing or synthetic leather.
