Many keep thier mobiles in a leather pouch which hang on their belts. Is this harmful?

Is it harmful to health to keep a mobile phone in a leather pouch which hangs on a belt and thus very close to one's body. Keeping a mobile in one's trouser pocket or jacket pocket can be equally harmful??

1. The only harm I see carrying it in the your pocket would be if you sat on the phone of something. I carry my phone in a leather pouch on my hip all the time and see others doing it too. I have not known it to be harmful.
2. probably not as harmful as having it stuck to the side of your head 24/7
3. no, there has never been an evidence to suggest mobile phones emit harm full radiation. people who say otherwise are generally scaremongering
4. No, however they did just publish results of a 12 year study on cell phones and it turns out people whom cary their phone like that for 4-10 years actually get a version of phantom limb syndrom when its removed. Bizarre eh? (this study was done on blackberry's but Im assuming its the same)
