What is the best way to create an extra hole in my leather belt?

I have a leather belt that I bought. It has the usual holes in it, but my waist is kind of small so I need to make another hole so it will fit me when I wear it. What is the best way to do this? The belt is not that thick, but it is made of firm leather. Thank you so much for your answers! edit: wow, thanks for all the great ideas i never would have thought of myself!

1. if you or your parents have a drill you can put some card board in the back of the belt and drill a small hole in that.
2. i usually just do it with the hook on the belt already. just poke really hard.
3. i can use a screwdriver and beat a hammer on top of it to make the circle perfect...hope it works out
4. how about trying to burn a hole
5. get a small screwdriver and hit it up on a gas stove and the push it against the belt it will melt it slighty and make a hole
6. A drill would be best.
