lawn mower belt?

the belt above the lawn mower blade somehow got torn up by the blade itself, and i'm sitting on the pavement trying to figgure out how to replace it with my new belt...i took off the blade and see the round part the belt wraps around....but wheres the other part the belt wraps around? i dont know where to put the other part of the belt :p

1. The belt goes around the blade pulley and around the motor or power pulley. There may be an idler pulley also to put tension on the belt. Without knowing more about your mower, that's about the best I can tell you. Good luck.

3. As said by others, without knowing more details about your specific mower it is hard to be exact. Normally there is an owners manual that will have a diagram showing where the belt goes. If you have no manual, find the nearest dealer carrying your brand of mower and ask, they are usually more than happy to help out.
4. the belt directions for my riding mower are printed on the underside of the running board. the running board is the part that you step on to get onto the mower. lay on the ground and look up. hopefully that's where your diagram will be also. good luck to ya
