i want to start my own online store?

Do you think I would have more sucess with my own website or an auction site like e-bay? I'm going to start with women's and junior's clothing, shoes, and accessories. If this goes well I may want to venture into children's clothing and home decor-should I just start a new site for these items or make my store one that sells all of these items? What are some good memorable names? Please base this on your opinion of my second question. Please answer any or all of these questions. Thank you so much.

1. you're better off selling that stuff on ebay because millions of people visit that site every day...while if you made your own site you would have to get the word out about the site and that is a lot harder and takes a lot longer...ebay lets you have an "ebay store" so you can pretty much sell whatever you want there. you dont have to focus on one thing. Hello im from argentina!.. end i recomend you (onlky if you know how send international products) to start in mercadolibre its an ebay from argentina. i say that cause here in argentina dollar cost 3 to 1. for example here a chewing gum pack cost 1 peso( 0.30 dollar cent aprox.) .
