Can we really be able to make a decent living by joining the ebay auction sites ?

- All I can offer is my aunts success at doing Ebay...She buys things from yard sales and thrift shops and re-sells them on Ebay for more money. She is earning about $350 a week profit on average from it right now.....
- doubt it...it can help your store sell a bit more but only on ebay...too late...
- its like any business venture where you are self employed it takes more work and dedication than a job for someone else, and above all honesty. If you offer products people want at fair prices and carry through on your end with delivery timely they will bid/buy. On ebay you have to earn a good reputation to succeed.
- It is just like any other business. You have to have a product people want and you have to spend time setting up the auctions and shipping. I believe you can be quite successful at it, but you have to work at it. IF you sit back and wait for the money to roll in, you will go broke. But if you SELL SELL SELL at a fair price and ship quickly - you will do well.
- I honestly doubt it unless you have a lot of capital to start with.
- i believe for every success story there are a few failures. so u have to work hard at being the success story and not the failure!
- I have been selling on eBay for 6 years now. Selling has done well in the past. But this year, I have noticed a great decline in sales. Plus, the customers are getting more demanding. As a buyer, I have also noticed a great decline in items available, and those that are, the prices are too high, or they charge way too much shipping. One lady was trying to sell a sweater for $20 and charged $22 for shipping. When I asked her why, she said she paid $40 for the sweater and she wanted all of the money back. When did she buy the sweater? 2 years ago. I watched that sweater for a month, no one ever bought it and she never changed the price. It disappeared. It is a good way to make extra cash, but don't quit your day job. Good luck Hon.
- yess u can,and mor than that, but only if u live in north america (US,Canada),because there is a lot of stuff with wery large price variations,on each selling, ore buying market.
