Why do people bid on things like this on ebay and how do people live with themselves by selling this stuff?

If the bottle were refilling and she also needs money to escape an abusive relationship (see her other closed auctions) then why would she get rid of a jar that keeps refilling if she needs money. How do people decide to bid on these things when it is a lie, and how does a seller like this live with herself?
