Is it to soon to file a complaint on Ebay?
I won a dress in an ebay auction at the end of November. I paid with Paypal on November 30th and made a note with the payment that I was using the dress for a themed New Years party. A few days later I sent the seller an e-mail asking if they had received my payment. No response. So a week later I sent another e-mail explaining that it was important that I receive the dress at least a week before New Years so I needed to know that she had shipped it. No response. So a week ago I called her. She didn't even live at the house that ebay provided the # for anymore. The gentleman that answered the phone said he would see the seller in the next 2 days and get the situation straightened out. Well it's a week later. I've received no responses from the seller and no dress. Am I jumping the gun to file a complaint with ebay or should I wait another week to see if the dress shows?

- go ahead
- definately file a complaint. it sounds like you've been cheated.
- It sounds like a scam.
- It's been three weeks since you won the auction. You've sent 2 e-mails, plus a phone call with no results. Yeah, I think I would complain. Even you get the dress today you should complain about slow to ship and lack of communication. Other buyers would like to know.
- As an Ebay seller I think it is bit to early to file a complaint with Ebay. You paid for the dress Nov, 31 and it's only Dec 20. It takes a few weeks to receive something in the mail, especially at this time of year. But if it is a domestic order, I think you should open a item not received dispute on eBay, because she has not responded to any of your emails. If you do not receive a response to the dispute open from the seller, then dispute the charges. If she can't respond and tell you that she's sent it, then tough luck on her. I hope this helps.
