  1. A contradiction in terms, I would think. lol. Fair, honest, genuine, antique dealers.
  2. I may be a total cynic but I don't think anyone who calls at your home will give you a fair price. You would probably get a better price if you put your antiques on EBay. At least you would get the price that the market dictates and probably a lot more than you would get inviting an antique dealer into your home.
  3. Look for a honest, pious, god fearing, polite, ascetic, selfless crook and your job is done.
  4. I have to agree with Witchnanny, I sold a Kodak "Autographic" camera that I picked up at an estate sale for $10 for $350 on Ebay. It was almost new. Still had the case and instruction book from 1920. Things like really valuable antiques are where ebay shines the most. Whatever the antique, it's really valuable somewhere in the world, and those people will go nuts for it. In the case of my camera, it was sold to an Italian who jumped in at the last minute and was really excited about what he won. But, if you like, you can hire an Estate Sale Antique specialist to go through your house, price everything and sell it off from your house, but you'd be losing some of your profit to the agent. But the agent would know what your items would actually sell for. I hope this helps.
